I worked there very briefly. One of my 3 shifts was because of a desperate call to help clean out the coolers because the health inspector was coming. The food I threw away was disgusting and the "manager" still questioned why I was throwing it away. I quit after that. The kicker...Despite asking when I'd receive a paycheck for that awful job, I never received it.
We have been going here for a few years now. We have brought family and friends also. I have even told many people about this place. But this year, the resturant changed hands. We thought it was just a fluke, the last time we went and the service sucked. They forgot to seat us for an hour, even though we reminded them we were there. Eventually we wrote our own order on a piece of paper to give to the bartender! Everything has gone down hill since then it seems. We also go there for the sunday brunch every few months. The food there this time was awful. When i go to a brunch buffet, I am not expecting extreme gourmet. I would like it to be edible though. When you have to chew, (excuse me NAW) my way through a breakfast sausage, thats insane. The Chicken, somehow was tasteless. The fish tasted rancid. The egg/ hash thing was terrible. And then there was the biscuits and gravy. I thought I was going to need a chisel and hammer to get into the biscuits and the gravy was a god awful mixture of salt and flour. I almost had to cut the gravy with a steak knife. The only semi edible thing up there was the mashed potatoes. So i guess, we will have to find a new place. Its sad to see this place fall apart. Looking at other reviews on Google it seems whomever owns the place doesn't care. Hopefully no one ends up really sick from the lack of concern- for what WAS a loyal customer base.
