I love taking out-of-towners on this sunset horseback ride through Griffith Park. (I know absolutely nothing about riding horses, but always muddle through... the horses seem to know the drill and they pair guides with each group). The tour starts in Beachwood Canyon and you end up stopping for dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Burbank. The ride back through the dark is magical, with spectacular views of the city and the sound of coyotes echoing through the hills. Bring a bandana because you'll get dusty on the trail... you'll also be seriously saddle sore the next day!
Out of all the little corner spots The Table had got them all beat if your looking for a good taste yes, quantity yes, good customer service yes the price is just what it should be YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR here this place didn't put out false ads they really are the BOMB putting all these want to bee's out of business All they need is a bigger location (lord bless this business to continue going strong to continue pleasing the costumers, and most of all bless them with a bigger location) this is my prayer AMEN
The vegetarian baguette is sort of addictive. Different than what you will get at Subway. So yummy with cilantro and cucumber and avocado and a fresh jazzy taste. i would eat it every day if i could. The place looks INCREDIBLY clean so not sure what the first reviewer was referring to. Smoothie was yummy and dairy free. Kids are loving their grilled chicken baguette and the fresh crunch bread!
This is my go-to catering company for corporate events. They will cater for as few as 10 people at a very reasonable rate, and the food (very fresh and healthy salads and sandwiches) always gets rave reviews! I work with Jemma, who is very amenable to helping you customize your order according to specific wishes and dietary needs. The delivery and set-up is prompt and seamless!
Interesting flavors served up in this cozy little Craftsman cottage off the beaten path in Silver Lake. I order their ribs (which come in a spicy dry rub) every time and they never disappoint. They have a lot of meat that just falls off the bone. Also love their crispy cauliflower. Cute back patio for outdoor dining. They serve wine and beer only, I believe.
This is a great place to board your horse. They feed hay multiple times a day and once during the night. I always know that my horse is well taken care of when I am not there. The other boarders are great horse people and it is a very encouraging and supportive environment!
Tony Teems has the best posting of food on Facebook.....If you r in the L.A. area, i advise you to visit his restaurant, I know I will as soon as I can get there.....If his food taste as good as it looks, I know u will love it....Check him out Please. .....
I remember Powell's Catering from way back when they were on Verdugo Rd. Robert Powell is an excellent chef and even greater person. His company has served our downtown law firm's luncheon needs for many years now. Prices are very reasonable.
The food at Tres Palmas is generally of good quality and truley represents traditional mexican cuisine. The only thing that could be improved is the staff and their ability to bring the correct order at the required time.
