Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa

Had a few days off...was going to go to Vegas...it was my 50th bday ...didn't want to spend time in the air so went to blue chip on several recommendations as they enjoyed the spa....went online to book reservation for 3 days....arrived at hotel checked in said they had us booked in the old side and if we wanted the spa side it was 34$ more per night I said what the heck although that's not what computer said when I booked reservation...told the desk it was my 50th and desk clerk said she'd see if there was something special they could do ....never heard from them ...but no biggy...room smelled like BO or sumthing??checked out the tv and noticed they had no movie channel .....they also had no bathtub just shower went down to casino and had dinner ....went back to room to go to bed and there were just very thin sheets on bed and we were freezing called housekeeping there was no answer so we just jacked up the heat...anyway day 2 went to casino then ate lunch b4 a massage i wanted to sit in steam room for a while and it was out of order!!! after massage I wasn't feeling well so went back to stinky room to lay down...stated vomiting ...got food poison and was sick for 24 hrs called down for a couple of robes and the desk said they didn't have any....ok ...now I'm irritated...there were no movies and the instruction manual for remote didn't correlate to the type of tv we had so just had to wing it ....so now comes day 3 breakfast and we decide to order room service toast oatmeal and hot tea ....called and got no answer tried 3 more times ...finally front desk answers and says we don't have room service on Monday or Tuesday's now I've got to talk with a mgr ...talked with mgr jack ... We told him of our concerns and he didn't really care ....wanted to defend the hotel not hear how dissatisfied we were....got no where with him called back 4 minutes later they said mgr jack had left I said give me sum1 else they gave me mgr Brenda ....after I told her all my concerns and that for all the money we spent in 3 days I felt we should be compensated for 1 night ...she said I had to speak with mgr Kate to approve...she transferred me to Kate's voicemail I refused to leave a message and kept going back to receptionist and asked them to page mgr and they said the don't have a way to reach her...so I demanded to speak to her and miraculously she answered...I explained all of our concerns and she too was defensive ...never apologized ...and in fact started arguing with me that basically these weren't their fault...so I said...that I was in the service industry and had never been treated so rudely your sign said" luxury accommodations" and "weekend getaways" and "room service".....NOT!!! False advertising....and she was arguing with me on every point!!....I couldn't believe it needless to say she too didn't really care about our concerns and was defensive saying these really weren't their problems and they offered to send up an EMT to have me checked out!!! Omg don't stay in this dump!! They r rude ...they falsely try to get your money everything was dirty or broken and the have very poor customer service...I am wriitjng a letter to the owners!!!this place sucks!!
