Where to start... Well to be direct and helpful to the Online Community, I will start with this statement and then elaborate:"If you would like partial truths, poor communication skills, questionable vehicle dependability and ultimately less that poor service all around, please by all means buy a car from Karmart of Michigan City, IN."I recently bought, and had shipped to me, a 1941 Plymouth from Walter (Wally) Froneck. I bought it without seeing it in person which is completely my fault because I trusted the line of bull coming from Wally's mouth. He said things such as the following:Wally in regards to the car's condition: "The car is perfect mechanically, I would drive it across country myself"TRUTH: The speedometer is not hooked up so you don't know when you are speeding and there are soo many oil leaks that the car now sits in a mechanic shop being fixed. Wally to my Wife: "Yes the car has seat belts, don't worry"TRUTH: The car has rear seat belts which do nothing for the front seated humans who would get ejected from the car upon impact.Wally in response to shipping: "We will wrap the car in protective film to keep moisture, rocks, etc from getting to the car"TRUTH: The car was uncovered, unwrapped and not protected in the least. The list goes on and on... The car was supposed to come with paperwork proving mechanical work, NONE. The car supposedly had no major defects, a BROKEN passenger window arrived to my door (confirmed by someone at the dealership that it was present when the car was up for sale originally). NOT DISCLOSED.When confronted with some of these issues, Wally ducked my calls and instead had another salesperson deal with me. That salesperson was no help because he didn't work on the transaction to begin with. I still have had no response to multiple calls and messages in regards to this transaction. He is a the stereotypical slimy car salesman that most car buyers are warned to avoid.
General manager ( Wally) cant handle bad reviews. And his "guarantees" mean nothing.Very poor customer service on his behalf.
Very poor poor quality you would think a car dealership would sell cars that had no issues worst place ever
Drove 3 hour for a car that had 2 doors that didn't open ,oil LEAKS, & cracked windshield AVOID THEM AT ALL COST BUNCH OF CON ARTIST
Sold a lemon that was stated to have zero mechanical/electrical problems and no accident history to find myself getting a bill for over $4000 in repairs to make the vehicle safe to drive down the road. Owner refuses to return my call or emails. Stay away from this business!
Knew what I wanted and they obliged everything went pretty smooth. Would recommend this place to others.
Knowingly sells unreliable cars, awful customer service, and overall poor business. Clearly will not do be doing business with them again.
Bought a jeep from them and we didn't even have it for a week and it won't start! Don't trust them!
They make you feel like family then at the end kick you to the curb. This place is a joke. Did everything they asked of us then bam was told they could not help us. Couldn't even tell us over the phone instead sent a text how childish.
The service department's prices are the best in town!
