I can't speak for the other reviews on here, but I always had a great experience with Dr. Ragolta. I went to him during my postpartum depression after my 3rd baby and he was the only psychiatrist to spend the time to talk with me. I was on a plan that worked for me. We worked together. My previous psych was an assembly line pharmacist. I stopped going when I got pregnant with my 4th baby, but now that I had the baby I am starting up again. Also, I had a break down from anxiety, I called his answering service and he called me back within 15 mins. That was even after not seeing him for over a year. I was really surprised.
He cares a lot about his patients and is a very kind doctor with a mellow attitude, but he may not always believe what you say is your problem. He doesn't believe that SSRI dicontinuation syndrome can effect patients in a severe way which can be disconcerting. He is a good person and a good doctor, but if you need concrete solutions he may not be decisive enough with your plan of care. Overall I would still recomend him for any condition other than SSRI issues.
I find doctor to be extremly knowlegdeable in his field and would highly recommend him to others
Most excelent physician .
