The unique climate in South Florida allows us to keep a wide variety of animals from Asia, Australia and Africa, representing a broad mix of species that is unlike any other zoo in the country. Our animals are grouped according to their geographic territories, with species that live together peacefully in the wild placed in exhibits together here at the zoo. Our trees, foliage and even our soil are matched as closely as possible to the native habitats of our animals. It was a FAR drive but like theyr ads say, it really was fun for the whole family. All the kids in my family, my own kids, my nephews and nieces, even my 92 year old grandmother loved it! The heat almost killed us but the park revived us. The zoo was bigger than we expected, my kids were like lost in wonderland they didn't want to leave. I heard others complain about the smell before I went, honestly I didn't smell anything, I think those peeps just have sensitive noses. I absolutely loved this zoo! You don't have to go out of the state to enjoy seeing and knowing a big variety of animals. This place is absolutely great!
