Dr. Steven Henriques was born and raised in Miami, FL. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Arts & Letters. He continued on to medical school at the University of Illinois where he completed a five year general surgery residency and served as Chief resident from 2013-2014. At the conclusion of residency, he continued his training with a one year fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
