I visited the restaurant with my family for the first time in April of 2012. These people are crooks. First, the prices they charged for various entrees were a few dollars higher than the prices on the menu. Then, they increased the tip on the charge to my credit card. In looking over the charge slip, I also noticed that they charged 8% tax when the Miami-Dade tax is 7%. Moreover, the quality of the food is mediocre at best. The gyro meat was dry and the baklava was poorly made.

I happen to love Mykono's. The service is great. The food is excellent and very affordable. I recently took my parents and sister to Mykono's for dinner. They had never been and loved it. My dad said that the roasted chicken was tender, juicy, and loaded with flavor. My mom thought the hummus and eggplant dip was the best she had ever had. As for my sister... The baklava was her favorite! I have been going to Mykono's for lunch for about a year. The food, the atmosphere, and the service has always been excellent!!!

My husband and I went to Mykonos to satisfy our curiosity after driving by for years. We sat outside and placed our order with the less than enthusiastic waiter. We asked him if he was Greek, and he was not, nor were any other servers. We asked for recommendations, and ended up ordering the lemon chicken soup (oligolemono sp?), spanikopita, and lamb shank platter. It was just okay, there was zero ambience, and we have no plans of returning. I wish I could say it was spectacular, as we have eaten Greek food in the past and loved it, but alas, we will have to pass on this place.

The server ignored us as far as asking us if we wanted refils, or dessert, or even coffee, a second glass of wine. I order the veggie gyro, asked if there were any peppers in it, they said no, lo and behold it came with peppers in it.... server did not care. I won't go back. Daily Bread is a much better place to

Before I begin, I must tell you what I love the most about this place- The hummus. Try it. It's the best you'll have.
Alright then. I stumbled upon this place when looking for another restaurant in the same area and how lucky were we! The food is simply great. I recommend you begin your meal with a delicious Greek coffee. I had never had anything like it, and I was amazed right away. Next is my favorite item on the entire menu which I must say is bound to satisfy most cravings. My favorite item is the Gyros and chicken Gyros. Simply put, they'll amaze you. Their pita bread tastes like it's baked on the premises! It's deliciously soft and oh- So warm.. Like a piece of heaven. But it doesn't end there, oh no. If lamb is your thing, you have GOT to try their lamb. It's like nothing you've ever had before. I usually drop by in the early evening. It's nice and empty, so I get treated like a king by the staff, so if you want personal attention, follow suit.
