Terrible, Terrible, Terrible place to do business. Gave them a business check they would not take it. Gave them the debit card link to the same checking account and they took it. I told them it didn't make any since the cashier got irritated. Their pricing is not competitive. Beware.
The worst place to do business . There was no client service. I bought 5,000.00 + in materials for my home . I know the Owner Ignacio ,and trusted his word unfortunately it cost me $$$ on low quality materials . Rey one of the employees is always on the phone avoiding to help me or any one. The older gentleman Manuel R. who processed my order was irritated as if he is there only to get a paycheck.;therefore, was irritated by "working".**** Save your MONEY and TIME DO NOT BUY THERE.

MY ADVICE IS TO NEVER SHOP AT FLORIDA LUMBER ON 20th Streeet IN MIAMI. I ordered all my lumber from them to build my patio deck. I was promised and charged for premium decking pine. When the wood was delivered it was crappy. My carpenter started the work so I had to eat the inferior wood. Oh well. But the lumber for the posts was damaged and the posts were cracked on all four sides top to bottom. Useless. I Went to Florida Lumber today to return the poles. Even though I have bought thousands of dollars worth in lumber and materials from Florida Lumber, they refused to take back eight 4X4 poles that were worth less than $50. Wouldn't even exchange them for more acceptable ones. The manager was beyond rude, and their customer service STINKS. The nasty owner and his arrogant son are dictators and could tell this is not a good place to work either! I feel sorry for the staff of Florida Lumber. They are managed by Old-Man-Hot-Head, and his son, Arrogant-Power-Tripper. My CUBANAZA came out, and I STRONGLY and VOCIFEROUSLY demanded a refund in front of their 2 or 3 customers (the place looks like it's headed for bankruptcy). I did not leave until they refunded my money. I've been banned from ever shopping there again. Oh Dear!

We are one of the bigger roofing contractors in Miami and have unfortunately dealt with Florida Lumber for the past couple of years because they initially promised low prices. This has not been the case, the invoices we receive are always for a higher amount than what was quoted and they never credit us. FURTHERMORE and worst of all, their customer service is complete crap, they have an incompetant staff that can only communicate in Spanish and do not care about customer service. We bought tens of thousands from this supplier in 2011 and they closed our account and had one of our employees waiting for 4 hours because of a $600 invoice that was due. When we called them to ask for a copy of said invoice and statement to pay this invoice Isabel from their accounting department said ' I can not send you this until after my lunch break' even though our employee was waiting there.
This was just one of a very long list of issue with this company, as of this moment we will never purchase from them again and warn any other persons or contractors. I've never written a bad review in my life and decided to create an account and write this one because I honestly feel that this company needs to be held accountable for their behavior.
