I called American Pest Management Services after having called several of the other pest control companies listed, and the call was picked up right away. All the other companies either had a voice mail or one of those annoying touch tone service which didn't have the personal attention American Pest Management gave me. Jose, the company owner, answered the phone and greeted me with open arms making me feel very comfortable by answering all my questions right away without putting me on hold. I made an appointment with him, and he was very punctual upon arriving and his professionalism really impressed me. He Showed me all his exterminating equipment and I was even further impressed with all the up-to-date and state of the art pest control tools and services he had to offer. I highly recommend Jose for any of your pest control needs, besides being a very punctual, friendly and professional person, he will also make you feel at ease with your pest elimination problems. Jose demonstrated that he was extreemly knowledgeable in his line of work, and assured me that my pest problems will be resolved. I had a real problem with my land in Naples. My land was covered in trees and palmetto and my driveway was a disaster. I called Alex and asked him to come look at the site. He was there the next day and carefully looked at my property. The following day his trucks arrived in my driveway and he started work. He removed a lot of palmetto and then started on some of the trees that I needed to be taken down. He had the machinery that was needed and he really knew how to use it. He is truly a master at what he does. Then he started on my driveway. He removed several large trees and then did a grade on the driveway that allowed the heavy rains to run directly to the culvert. He really knows his business. I can't say enough at the job he did. Alex is the hardest working man I have ever known. I heartily recommend Alex. If you have a tree that needs to be removed, and your worried about it falling on your property, Alex has the equipment to safely remove any tree. He is a true pro.
My mothers home was overgrown with trees and scrubs which were growing dangerously close to power lines. I observed Done right Tree Service working in my neighbors yard and was pleased with the work that was done. I spoke to the owner, Alex, and explained what I needed. Alex came right over, took a look and made several suggestions. I also explained my mother was very concerned, as she wanted to preserve as many of the older oak trees as possible. Alex agreed and was right on it the following day. I was very happy with the work, and Alex went out of his way to save as many of the trees that he could. Alex and his crew were prompt, courtious and completed all the work in a day. They cleaned up the entire area and left the both the back and front yard looking great. My mother was thrilled, as Alex had been able to preserve almost all of the older trees. We were both extremely happy with the work and would reccommend Done Right Tree Service to everyone. Sincerely Diana Johnson
We contracted Done Right Tree Service to completely remodel our landscaping so that it would help us sell our house. It was a complete success. They designed and remodeled our yard complete with pavers, irrigation, trees, plants, rocks, traffic stopping curb appeal....the works. Most importantly while many of my neighbors did the same the quality of work provided by Done Right Tree Service really stood out. While my neighbors suffered with tree loss, over/under irrigation problems, and plant loss due to poor product selection, ours flourished. I remember being told when all our neighbors start re-planting because their trees or plants died your going to call and thank me. They were right. Our landscaping took hold with the right combination of plant selection, spacing and irrigation. It pays off to work with people that are realiable, knowlegable and affordable. Done Right Tree Service - ( They do it right the first time )
We recently had a beautiful but problematic (roots were raising the pavers) and huge paradise tree removed from our backyard by this company. Alex, Scott, and a very hard-working young man, whose name I believe was Anthony but I'm not 100% sure, arrived right on time, did the job quickly and professionally, and then swept and blew the leaves afterwards. It was even more difficult to haul the tree off, because I live on a lake and they had to cut a swath through some pretty thick vegetation so they could get to a major street and put the cuttings in their truck which was parked there. Alex put a chemical on the stump so that it can't grow anymore. Since they were already there, I had them pick up a lot of palm fronds that had fallen down the embankment almost into the lake. They also shaved the roots off of our oak tree in our front yard and did a great job there as well. I felt their prices were fair. I highly recommend this company.
I have been fortunate enough to have found Done Right Tree Service and had them work on my properties. Alex is very knowledgeable, hard working, honest, and always helpful. He designed a tropical landscape in my back yard with palm trees, landscape rocks, and various plants that exceeded my expectations. We got numerous compliments on the landscaping from friends, relatives, and neighbors. We were sad when we decided to relocate to Brevard County and leave behind all the gorgeous landscaping. Fortunately for us Alex was willing to travel up here and he removed 6 large cabbage palms that were entangled in the power lines and designed a new landscape for our new home. We truly believe that Alex and Done Right Tree Service is the most trustworthy, reliable, honest, and caring landscaper there is. I would recommend him and his company to friends, relatives, and neighbors that want their yards to stand out. You can't go wrong with Done Right.
I have 16 queen palms lining my driveway that were so overgrown it made my house look abandoned. So many tree service companies either wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to trim them, or they never returned calls to give me an estimate. The owner of Sunhine, Nelson Zaldivar, promptly returned my call for service. He showed up on time and gave me an extremely fair price to trim my queen palms. Nelson and his men did such a great job that two of my neighbors also contracted with Sunshine to have work done on their overgrown trees. The professionalism of Nelson and his team was a welcome surprise. They did a phenomenal job and I have received so many compliments on how nice my driveway looks now. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunshine Tree Service.
I manage a condo building in Brickell Dr. Santa Maria condo. We had other pest control companys that could not get rid of the bug problem ,We got recommend American Pest Mangement Service . The owner of the company came out to our property the first thing they did was to study the condo bldg, the owner came back with a program for our property. Their service is the best I seen. Thank you american
Nelson and his crew have done an excellent job again. This is the 2nd time that we've called Sunshine Tree Trimming because they are very knowledgeable about the practical and aesthetic aspects involved in tree trimming and landscaping. We had several huge palms and a large lychee tree that needed to be removed and an enormous tree that was long overdue for a trim; it would've been a real threat to our house in the event that a hurricane would've knocked it down. Nelson and his crew were able to remove all of the trees that we requested along with a lot of yard debris AND trim that enormous tree all in one day! Quite an accomplishment! We are very pleased with the results. Will definitely call again and recommend.
If you need anything garden related, call Christian. I invest in Real Estate and flip homes and we had another guy do the lawn work at one of my properties. I was completely dissatisfied with the bad work of the previous guy and randomly call Christian. From the very first phone I could tell that he was responsible. He came and did the job earlier than he had promised and it came out beautiful. He did exactly what he said he was going to do, when he committed to doing so. That is so hard to find. I will continue to call on him for any future jobs and recommend him with my eyes close. Very happy! Cindy Investorsatauction.com
Nature's beauty can be seen everywhere through landscape designs. Not everyone has a green thumb or the knowledge to coordinate a landscaping plan that's aesthetically pleasing and meets the unique needs of the property. Landscape contractors can help add curb appeal to the exterior of your home or strategize how plants should be laid out.
Generally, landscape contractors create or refurbish outdoor spaces by planting trees, lawns, shrubs and flowers, and constructing paths, decks and patios. These professionals will generally discuss client requirements, how the landscaped area will be used, and the client's preference for certain styles. After this initial meeting, landscapers will select the materials they need and start carrying out their construction and planting plans.
With the number and variety of properties that need landscaping services, it should come as no surprise that there are many different providers to choose from. In fact, there are nearly 500,000 active landscaping businesses in the U.S. This demand is driven by the continued growth in domestic housing markets. Steady disposable income has also been a major reason for households to outsource their yard care.
Landscaping contractors have a wide variety of techniques that they can use to spruce up your yard. Here are some of the most common landscaping attributes that you can find at most homes:
Homeowners and businesses may stray from annuals and biennials due to planning and costs associated with them - instead, look to fill your garden with perennials. These plants return every year, making them a budget-friendly option. You may choose to do a one-color floral garden or a combination of colorful perennials. Look at plants like allium, buddleia, coneflower, sage and veronica for inspiration when choosing perennials.
Homeowners can mix and match different kinds of trees to enhance their yard. Evergreens like spruce, magnolia, holly and firs keep their leaves year-round. Deciduous trees, on the other hand, have leaves that change color and fall off in colder months. Pair different types of trees together for ample yard coverage.
If you want to guide guests around your yard, try using pathways. You can dig shallow holes to make the stones flush with the ground, providing an appealing walkway. Pavers can also be arranged in geometric patterns to cover unused ground space or bare earth.
Landscape contractors can also build a structure that will enhance your yard. Perhaps you decide to put in a koi pond, or that you want to build out your patio. Landscape contractors have the knowledge, tools and design expertise to carry out these construction projects.
Homeowners and business managers should call landscaping contractors as these professionals have the tools and expertise to carry out jobs such as:
Planting Trees and Flowers
Landscapers are often called out to roll out sod as well as plant trees and flowers. These contractors have the design aesthetic to help you plan the best layout for your particular space. Landscapers can also tell you if certain plants aren't cut out for your climate. Not only will you get a beautiful yard, but you'll also have foliage that will last over the years.
Sprinkler systems are beneficial for a variety of locations, but many DIY irrigation projects can lead to incorrect installations. Some problems include poor-quality components, improper pipe sizing, too many sprinkler-heads per zone, and inadequate head spacing. These systems are difficult to install, and a DIYer can easily make mistakes. Landscape contractors can situate sprinklers methodically to maintain your plants and ensure that the irrigation system is set up correctly.
Building Retaining Walls
If you have a retaining wall or are putting one in, proper installation is crucial. Landscapers see issues like lack of proper base preparation, unattractive wall blocks, mitered cuts at corners and no drainage chimney installed behind the wall. To prevent your wall from crumbling, call a landscape contractor to construct one.
Besides putting in plants and trees, building decks and patios are the most common jobs for a landscape contractor. These professionals have the best materials and tools available to create the look that you desire. DIY projects can end with structurally unsound builds, requiring additional time and money to fix the issues. Good landscapers will ensure a solid result that melds with the rest of your landscape design.
Homeowners and contractors can draw a lot of inspiration from landscaping styles used all over the world. There are some limitations to your options, such as what plants you can use based on the climate you live in, how much space you have to work with and any homeowners-association compliance regulations. However, once you address these main areas, landscaping design is only as restricted as your imagination.
Many homeowners are starting to use the Mediterranean design style for their landscapes. This option is becoming popular around the world because it takes advantage of new varieties of palm trees and plants that conform to different climates. The diversity of this flora is what makes this approach so appealing.
Southwest Landscape Design
If you live in an arid region, this style is likely going to be the best choice for your landscaping. Using a mix of garden decor and plants, Southwest design aims to make the most of plants that retain water well and can handle dry, warm climates. Pathways, patios and lawn ornaments can help cover the space and complement available flora.
Japanese Garden Style
Japanese-style landscapes are known for providing a serene space. This design uses a number of techniques to make the area look bigger than it is and to create a calm, beautiful atmosphere.
No matter which style you choose, there are some main considerations that should go into your design. Homeowners need to anticipate equipment access needed to create a deck or patio, as some tools may be too big for the space. They will also want to start by choosing a focal point. It should stand out but still be connected to the rest of the landscape. Accenting your home with thoughtful plantings to highlight its features will add curb appeal and enhance its characteristics.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Consider these factors before hiring a contractor:
Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person. Feedback from these sources can reveal necessary information about the quality of the contractor's work, dependability, responsiveness and capacity to carry out your particular project.
Certification and Memberships
Landscape contractors also should have relevant certifications from reputable programs, like Certified Landscape Technician. You should also ask for a list of professional activities, affiliations and awards to gauge interest in professional growth and commitment to excellence. Contractors may be part of the International Society of Arboriculture, The Irrigation Association and numerous other organizations that are committed to providing better training and education in the industry.
Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Pricing and Billing
Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
States have different requirements regarding landscape-contractor operations. Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock. It's important to ensure that your landscape contractor complies with established rules before beginning your project.
When it comes to working with landscaping materials, safety must be the top priority. There is a wide range of services within the industry, many of which come with a risk of injury. Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
