used to be a great club, but the staff has become intolerable - even if i wear a hat and huge headphones, the staff will still harass you - i come for a workout, not a social event. not only that, the group fitness manager is kind of a total b-word, and none of the really good instructors stay - you get used to one really good yoga or pilates instructor and they leave. schedule never stays the same. the facility is the only thing it has going for it.
Excellent gym to go to. Try to avoid times like 5 pm because it becomes packed but other than that the machines and size of gym are superb.
This fitness center has changed my life! I never thought that I can lose 30 pounds but not until I tried and have been regular on their program.
I love this place. It is the perfect "fitness" hangout for me and my family. I have even brought my friends here and they feel rejuvenated as I am.
I would not join this particular LA Fitness club in Aventura Waterways. The trainers are rude. They push around the members and the trainers are treated better. Even though they have a cordoned off area, they treat the whole club as their fiefdom. The track upstairs is unsafe with weights and other debris littering the path to and from. In fact there are weights all over the club to trip over. I was told by the training manager that I am a new member. I have been a member since 2001. I told him that. He insinuated I was a liar saying I never saw you before and I have been here 14 years. I just saw him for the past 2 years. Anyway, they are discourteous to members. I have been a member for 14 years and this last year has been hell for me, constantly moving weights and gym bags off the track. One trainer said to me you better watch out. I took a photo (off limits) to show the manager and everyone went ballistic. I never had a problem with this club until this past year. I suggest you wait a year or two for new management before you join. Maybe they will fire the deadwood. The photos below are not of this particular club.
I like how they manage their fitness class here. Everybody is participating and the instructors are knowledgeable about what they are teaching.
The fitness center is filled with people who are passionate about losing weight and living a healthy lifestyle. It helps with the motivation.
After two years looking and switching my kids around, I am fortunate to have found an instructor that love teaching kids and have passion for his career. This is the very best of the Judo offered by an Olympic winner right in the heart of Miami, FL> This is not a regular review. I feel the need to let people know there's still a good judo in Miami. (Like the one we had back in Cuba).
If you want to become a member of this gym, ask for discounts or membership perks. They offer them to new members.
The line for cardio equipment is long and the waiting time is long. I wish they add more cardio exercise equipment. Weights are good though.
