I have been going to this amazing Salon since 2009. I love it so much!!! I can call this place home. The only salon I have ever been too in my entire life that takes care of my hair EXACTLY how it needs to be taken care of. I am not sure why the picture shows a random location, but this salon is a beautiful place where you can feel relaxed. they also have a beauty salon next to it which is the same business but separated the spa for relaxation purposes! I love it.
I came intrigued by the intricate designs they do and the special they offered for hands and feet. I went the 1st time. Got the offer. Loved it. I made a 2nd appointment and specified in the text I wanted the special offer, they said ok. After I'm finished what was supposed to be I think around $30 comes out to like $55 because "the special offer is only for new customers." Well then... she shouldve specified that in the text for the appointment where she clearly agreed to my request. The ladies were all very nice so far, I liked my nails, and I don't like confrontation so I payed and left to take cash out to tip the nail tech who assisted me. First of all... they flat out tell you to your face how much tip they expect from you... she told me she takes $10 tip. Tip is something the customer should decide on, as well as the amount, depending on how well of a job you think they did.. right? Ive never in my life experienced this at any nail salon. Weird and uncomfortable. She literally wrote down the amount she expects from me and circled it. So this is all very bizarre, I went out, struggling to find a place to take cash out, so I went home quickly to get cash I had in my room since I live close by. As I'm approaching the nail salon with her tip I recieve a text from the nail tech that assisted me, saying I can easily tip her the $10 through venmo if I need to... Mind you, in the nail salon they already made it very clear to me that I can venmo tip, but I chose to go take cash out because I don't have venmo. I finally got there, gave her her tip and left. This was a very strange experience, and I didn't feel comfortable returning. Texting a new client at their personal number asking for tip is just too far/unprofessional in my opinion. The ladies are all very sweet, but the prices are a bit high for the service in my op. They don't have water pedis either. If you want a great affordable salon go to the Fast Nails on 137th & 96th st! Love them so much. Sweet ladies.
I Schedule an appointment for today at 12pm two days ago. I arrived at 11:55pm -and the business owner Nini had a client she just began working on. I wasn't in a hurry and i didn't want to make a big deal about it so I asked her if it was OK for me to go wash my car and if i can can I come back when shes done with that client. She told me yes! "Come back at 1pm." When I came back At 1pm she had somebody else. ( I had called ahead 10 mins before to let her know i was on my way and she didn't say anything about having another client) When I got to her she told me that that is her business and she doesn't take care of people like me. Im not sure what she meant by that. Maybe it has to do with my color, sexual orientation... This has been thus far the worst experience i have experience as a customer in my life.

Emily, Du, and Jun are friendly and make you feel welcomed. This is my personal experience and hopefully yours will be better. Their services are way too expensive to then have deal with gel manicures chipping after a few days, acrylics lifting the same week, rude technicians, etc. We had an issue my teen daughter's gel manicure and decided to give this salon another chance. Our favorite nail tech was on vacation and decided to go with another tech; huge mistake! I removed that review because the owner Du was sympathetic. When we returned, the energy was off, tense and we waited 20 minutes before my daughter was assisted even though we had an appointment. They need to hire more staff to help with the front desk. This location receives a lot of walk-ins which can be aggravating when you are trying to check out. Be prepared to wait! After two negative visits at this salon, we have decided not to return. It seems this is the norm for this salon. Great customer service at first and then disappointment.

Beware! This business does some shady practices where they take advantage of women by giving them services they don't ask for and then demanding payment for those services. It happened to my great aunt and also to my mother. That's two people I know they have taken advantage of. They're dishonest. Stay away from this establishment.
DON'T BUY A GROUPON FOR THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!!!I bought a Groupon for this salon a few months ago. When I called to make an appointment they were extremely rude and insisted that I would need to add extra services to my Groupon. Mind you, they had never met me or seen my hair to make such suggestions. I was irritated by this but went ahead with my making my appointment. A few days later, I realized I had a conflict in my schedule and left several messages to reschedule (because their phone goes directly to a voicemail), but my messages were ignored and I never received a call back.I sent a complaint to Groupon about the bad service and they insisted that I must provide a phone number for the salon to call me. This is not how business is done! A customer should be able to call a salon to make an appointment, not the other way around. Groupon refused to refund my money.With the Groupon expiration date looming, I decided to give it another try. But now I have spent three days trying to reach the salon for an appointment, again unsuccessfully. Their calls go straight to their voicemails, but the mailbox is full so I could not even leave a message.I have again complained to Groupon and they continue to defend this crappy salon and have not refunded my money..I had never had any problems with Groupons before this incident and find it absurd that they would let a lousy business cast a negative light on them over a $39 refund that is rightfully due to me.I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!!!!
