I have always been an animal lover, I have been to many sanctuaries where they rescue battered animals and give them a better life that is how they deserve it.Last Sunday I had the unfortunate opportunity to visit Jungle Island in Miami, FL, I was horrified to see the negligent way they have the animals in this place. To begin with, the space in which they have their different species is limited and in dark cages. They have two of the tigers in a small place with no grass, only dirt; Although nothing compared to the cement cage in which they have two other tigers next to one lion lonely and boring, all of them without any kind of entertainment or activity. Also, they have two beautiful orangutans in a cage with a weird shape, without much space. I was in that horrible place only 1/2 an hour, it was enough to spend the rest of the day sad. I do not understand how any association that protects the animals in Miami-Dade County has not intervened.I really hate that place and do not recommend it to anyone, it is not suitable for people who love and care about the welfare of animals.
