Beauty Salons of America is a great salon with exceptional stylists! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly faces at the front desk, and are even offered a glass of wine while you wait. It's very modern, clean and appealing. I find their services to be reasonably priced depending on what it is that you get; I firmly believe in the motto "you get what you pay for." They handle your hair with great care and make sure that you are comfortable from sitting at the sinks for the wash, the temperature of the water, and even when they are brushing out your hair. I have very blonde (colored) and very long, wavy hair, and I have never had a problem when they wash me out or brush out my hair (which has a propensity for getting tangled).Contrary to EVERYTHING 2helpfriends has written, the salon does not use cheap products. Their colors are Wella, they carry and use products such as Kerastase and Moroccan Oil. Last I checked, not exactly "cheap" or "inferior". Furthermore, their prices are exactly what you would expect for the quality of work and the level of skill that you get. Remember, you get what you pay for!!! If you want cheap/crappy work, then go elsewhere, but I know that I wouldn't risk damaging and destroying my hair to save a couple bucks. Also, the salon and staff is very upfront with their prices if you ask them how much your service will be whether when you are making your appointment or when you check in (I don't think I've ever been to a salon where they just have the prices of their services listed like a fast food menu on the wall. I ALWAYS make it a point to ASK!). Again, this is salon has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere with many skilled and talented stylists. If you want high quality work (with reasonable prices), great attention to detail, and an overall great experience, I HIGHLY recommend Beauty Salons of America Hair Salon!!!

I'm in the spa business and work for a high end spa in Miami. I came to get a massage here by Marcy with my Gilt City voucher. The place is very modern and well decorated. I was going to be the first appointment of the day at 10 AM. When I arrived, 10 minutes before 10:00, the salon hadn't even been opened. I am greeted and asked what service I'm there for, in which I got a bad feeling that something wasn't right. He says that she was unaware of the booking that I made the previous day in the afternoon. So, he says that I can reschedule and get a free service for my troubles. I'm very grateful for that and I'm happy for the gesture to want to make things right. So I went in for the massage, and first things first, the table wasn't heated and the sheets were cheap-feeling and not very soft at all. The initial touch of the massage wasn't calming and there was no introduction or connection to start the massage. She didn't keep in contact with me the whole time or keep a hand on me while she moved around. She had long fingernails that kept scratching my skin and poor transitional movements, if any at all. The music was too loud and fast and not relaxing. I left with oil all over because she slathered way too much on me, again no rhyme or reason or fluidity, also poor draping skills. I don't mean to be a complainer, but this definitely wasn't a great massage. I left very unimpressed and wishing for my money back instead of another service.
Like others have said, it's open, CLEAN, really nice ambiance with white modern decor, with very friendly staff. Amazing array of Zoya , Essie colors and lots of Gelish gel polishes like I never seen anywhere else I work in the healthcare field and it's useless to attempt any maintenance of a manicure, so I went in solely for a pedi. I was offered tea and water. I love places with massage chairs while you get your piggies pampered. I think Nailbar has the nicest ones around. Claudia gave me hands down the best pedicure I've ever had. The soaking, the lotioning, the massaging, then more soaking, and more massaging, and exfoliating, and then came out the callous shaver. I really like the cleanliness of the place . I've never spent so much time getting a pedicure, and I have to say it was an hour very well spent. My piggies are so purrrrrrrrty!! I really hope they do well cause it is on my neighborhood - I love supporting my local businesses and plan to visit Nailbar everytime I need my toes redone! O. Sundays of course since is my day off , and they offer free mimosas . Yay ! Seriously - if you're anywhere near midtown area get over to Nail bar and let yourself be pampered!
The salon is just great! I've been a customer for over a year now and always had a positive experience. The ladies there are really friendly and professional. Waxing is never fun, but Erika is fast, professional and accurate! She knows how to deal with delicate skin types and the hair regrowth shows up after a long time. Yes, it is a little pricey but it's worth it. I love the pedicures here . I dont believe in many of the reviews I read about this place, I've been coming here for a long time and never experience a bad service . I did tried pretty much all the technicians here and their service was always great. I had to wait a little bit a few times , but no major complains like other reviews mentioned. Receptionist was telling me ex employees and other salon owners were going viral online to write false reviews and hurt their reputation. I guess success hurts and jealous people can't deal with it. I wish them the best and even more success!
Hands down the best nail salon I have ever been to...great leg/foot massage during my pedi ( you cna ask for an Add-on 10 minute smore if you need), fantastic color selection and of course the most important thing: nail polish that lasts well over a month. The owner has great customer service and knows her clients by name - it is clear she has a loyal following. Many of the employees have worked here for a long time. I remember coming here with my bridal party 10 months ago and realizing one of my dresses was wrinkled. The owner insisted on walking my dress over to a nearby dry cleaner to have it steamed while I was getting my nails done. It was a huge stress relief and completely unexpected! But back to the important stuff - the staff do a great job and are consistent - that is what is great. It doesn't matter who you get, your nails will look good and last. I don't get my nails done too often any more but when I do, only go to Nailbar Midtown
My feet are somewhat of a horror ,that is the exacts words my wife tells me, so she decided to do something about it. She recently purchased a gift certificate at Trini and I have to admit, I had a great time there plus my feet are finally able to be exposed to the public! I had a hard time going on my own so my wife accompanied me on my adventure. I thought I would be the only guy there but to my surprise, there were two other gentlemen; one getting a pedicure and the other a manicure. The ladies who worked there were friendly, and especially made it a point to make me feel comfortable ( i guess they could tell I was uncomfortable from my face). After my hour session, my feet felt and looked great. So to all the men reading this, pamper yourself and get your feet done. The ladies will love it. Trini is the place to go if you live in Brickell area. Highly recommended. Now I'm a regular!
Let me tell you something about Lucy. Shes not your typical hair dresser. She is an artist! I've been going to her for almost a decade. Followed her from salon to salon, all around Miami, until she settled down with her own business in this current location. Because she's just that good. You come in with an idea and she makes it fit YOU. And although she has a million clients (everyone loves her), she can always set time aside for you and make you walk out of there feeling so much more beautiful, and turning heads like it's no one's business! Aside from her work, I can honestly say she is a woman of God that shows integrity, patience, kindness and humility. i love this lady! On a side note, the rest of her staff are courtious and talented as well! Specially when you're fixing your hair for a special event, and need to look your best, You can't go wrong with Lucy's.
I've been here twice and the service was great! Had one of the best pedicure ever . I think it was about 50 minutes or so, service included foot exfoliation with a natural sugar scrub ( dont remember the flavor but the smell was pretty yummy) , foot massage, hot towels, they did a pretty job with my cuticle and callus. Second time I tried the Gelish Manicure ( gel polish thing that is the most popular service there I guess) , and I loved it. 2 weeks still after, no chipping, color looks great. The crowd is young, the staff also kind of young but they know what they are doing and are totally cool. The Owner was there when I came me with my sister, she was really nice, offered us drinks, checked on our nails, was on top of everything. My nail tech for the pedicure was Jackie and the hands was a girl from Argentina. Tumbs up for this place. It is the best in Miami .
First time to this place the quality of service and staff is great Isabel did my hair and she was amazing. The owner Leo is very dismissive and rude to his employees, his mother works for him she advised me of a sale they had on shampoo and conditioner buy one get one free, when I asked Leo for the deal he responded that he was the only one allowed to give prices, I responded to him that his mother advised me about it and he should honor it, he responded NO! I paid 70.00 for the product I should have paid 35.00 as that was what I was told. I also let him know he was very rude to his employes as he had been talking down to them and about them from the moment I walked in, to what he responded NO I am not. After I left he complained about me to a customer VERY unprofessional.
