Overall
A true dining experience on the beach

Having moved to Miami Beach from NYC, the best way to describe RED is a little taste of New York on the Beach.

This is an excellent upscale steakhouse, with a real city vibe. The place was packed, food was delicious, wine list offered a good selection, service was very good for the most part, with the exception of having to ask for water twice. Overall very good.

Pricey, and not casual, so dress accordingly

Overall
Great Steak! "OK" service.

I was invited to dinner by a friend who wanted to try a new place on the beach, that someone had recommended. The place, Red the Steakhouse. I ate the boneless Rib-Eye and experienced something I had not felt in a while... complete satisfaction and very pleased taste buds. It also had a positive effect on my friend, who ate grilled Salmon but went there the following night to have the boneless Rib-Eye.



The service was "ok" but the food was much better. I think the waiters need better training. The restaurant was half empty, so there was no other excuse. One waiter was so anxious to serve that he came on to us like a herd of cattle, with the specials of the day and his recommendations.



Overall, it was good enough to visit a second time, for my anniversary.
