I took a 200? D&G shirt in perfect condition, it was returned to me with two holes, I confronted the manager Rene and got nowhere, then spoke to the owner Mark, who was rude and kurtly denied their wrong doing, and after I threatened to sued them he agreed to paid 100$. I will never go there again and if you are smart you wont either!

I took a sofa cover and skirt along with the seat and back cushion covers for dry cleaning. I was verbally quoted $30 for the cover $10 for both seat covers and $16.95 for both back covers. I thought it was high and asked to speak to the manager. The man said he could not do better than the $57. I decided to leave the stuff and was told it would be ready in a week. The receipts I was given just said the number of items and .00 in the amount of money. When I went on Sept. 2nd there was a line of customers. A lady whom I later learned was the owner, Ellen Friedman, told me to approach her counter. She then moved to the side, behind a wall and took a drink which spilled out of a cup. I pulled out the receipts which were given to me in a small ""Mark's"" envelope. Seeing that she ignored me, I stood behind others at the counter and waited my turn. I was told I owed $97 and changed. I told the young lady that wasn't what I was quoted. The owner grabbed her purse and started to walk out. I asked her to please help me with the problem and she said ""they would handle it"" , as she continued to go get in her car and leave. I asked the young lady if there wasn't the gentleman manager that I had spoken to when I dropped of the clothes. She said he was on vacation and went in with my pink slips (with no amount of money). Another lady came out and showed me that their copy of the pink slips had the word ""each"" written in pen. Again, I asked her to help me and she said they could not change any amount. She left the counter and then a third lady came whose name is Veronica Leon.. She slammed her greasy hand on the plastic covering my clothes and said ""you have to come back at 4pm to see the owner"". She said she is the counter manager. She was abusive, unprofessional and apparently had been eating chicken, since her fingers were greasy and with residue of white meat on them. I asked her not to touch my clothes with dirty hands. We went back and forth about the price and she suddenly grabbed the hangers and pulled the clothes from under my hands saying ""you come back at 4pm and talk to the owner"". I reached for my clothes and pulled them back. I told her I was going to pay but needed the price I was quoted and that the owner had ignored me already. She asked the young lady that first spoke to me to call the police and tell them there was an aggressive client. She continued to provoke me and threatened me with the police coming to get me. I told her I would go to the media. I needed the clothes and just paid. However, I did wait for the police, as she had really humiliated me. When I saw a police officer near-by I called him over and told him what had happened. Both Ms. Leon and the lady that had taken in my clothes the previous week and given me the pink slips left the counter and went out of sight inside the laundry. The policeman told me he could not write a case on this situation. By the way, when I got home I realized that the receipts on the hangers add up to $92 and change and they charged me $97 and change.Thus, I am doing whaterver possible to warn others about these thieves. God knows how many people have been taken by ""Mark's"" staff and owners modus operandum and have done nothing about it.

The ladies who work at the counter in the morning are very friendly. Two employees who work in the evening are not as customer-friendly (they do not say hello and never smile).I appreciate the ease of dropping off and picking up my laundry.The tailor has also always done a great job
