Horrible ! Gross Place !!!! DO NOT EAT HERE !!!! I Saw a roach by the food area !!!
Also, I saw an employee working the cashier and then handling the food without washing his hands ! I was So grossed out that I left and did not place an order !
DO NOT EAT HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having entered this establishment as a freshly arrived tourist... i politely asked to take a photo of a pizza because it was so large. Something we don't see in the uk. I was told "No: abruptly. at the same moment the little mexican said no, i snapped a photo, quite shocked he had said no to me i asked why and i was told "i told you not too take photos..!!" Whats the big deal i asked..? " No photos was his reply "...suddenly another member of staff came out and he looked a little more intellectual than this guy, so i asked him can i take a photo of the pizza... "No was his reply..!!" So i stood there and thought what a miserable bunch of staff. If this is miami's finest on washington drive.. god save me for the next 3 days. The situation became uncomfortable and i certainly did't want to buy anything after my rude encounter with the staff at "Groovy's Customer service department" Realising, I wasn't in a professional business, who care about customers and good relations, i immediately left the chimpanzee cage and continued my walk along washington drive. I certainly didn't want to taste the food after my encounter. Morons..!! I hope your management see this and i hope my picture of little boy pizza gets him sacked.... absolutely outstanding behaviour...!! Will i go back to one of your outlets..? I dont think so i'd rather sit with a chimp and eat nuts, at least i will get more appropriate communication skills...!! image taken 3rd november 14:26pm 2012 This member of staff needs to understand customer service...but you could always sack him instead.
I was starving after a very long day, most places were closed. on my way back to my hotel i couldn't help but see a store front window pilled up with pizza. I decided to try it. Pizza was great, and at 4 Am. it was the best thing i could have eat. I will defiantly visit Groovys on my next trip to Miami.

I love great pizza but don't like the hassle of ordering on the phone, like being put on hold, mystery prices and having to explain myself twice or three times to someone who can't speak my language.
That is why I love Presto Pizza Trattoria Miami Beach. Their pizza is homemade from the dough to the sauce and I have always found it to be fresh and tasty.
The coolest thing is the online ordering because I can order anything on their menu up to 4am late night and I don't have to deal with someone who puts me on hold and I know exactly how much I'm spending when I order.
I order... they confirm... and I get hot fresh pizza delivered to my condo. It takes a while longer than say the Hut, but the pizza is worth it. No cardboard machine pies here. For the price and good quality, I think it is one of the better deals on South Beach.

All the pizza parlors in Miami Beach were sampled by the staff at Enjoy Miami Beach a 10 year old tourist info site and magazine. The restuarants were judged on freshness of ingredients and taste of the pizza. Presto Pizza won first place unanimously. In subsequent interviews with the family that owns Presto Pizza, it was learned that the secret is simply fresh ingredients. Fresh made dough and breads are baked in the store daily. The sauce is made from fresh whole tomatoes that arrive daily. Even the pasta and meat sauce are made from scratch on site. True New York style pizza and other Italian dishes served over the counter. They also deliver to South Beach. You can also order online for pick-up or delivery as well.

We are a family of Italians and as such we like to eat, drink and be merry. On our vacation in Miami we tried the trendy eateries and they were nice but ""very expensive"". After two nights of fancy fancy we ask the staff where we could get a good Pizza close by (Surfcombers) in walking distance. They told us to try Presto's.......................
Unlike Traveler 2000 we got Italian food at the pizzeria. I never understood people who order sushi at a steak house..................
So the 7 of us walked down Lincoln...we were greeted nicely and told there was a big table for us in the back. Ordering is a little quirky as there are no waiters. But the owner gave us a piece of paper where we wrote down our drink and food orders...one, lucky family member went to the counter to order (the food was delivered to the table). We ordered Caprese salad, Garden Salad, Calzones, Chicken Parmesan and a large peperoni and large cheese pizza. All the food was prepared to order with all of the freshest ingredients... All of the food came out of the oven golden brown and piping hot. We also tried some specialty beers as there are some 40 different beers. Everything we had was very good and we had fun with the owner and other workers. There's a statue out front to greet you and take pictures with (we named him ""Uncle Presto"")....................
We have been back... and would Highly recommend the food is good.

My visits to Presto Pizza were not successful. Every time I went there I hoped I will finally like it. IT DID NOT HAPPEN. The guy who there is not nice At ALL, Online they have their menu but it turned out that ""it is old"". They didn't bother to change it. The prices are way different and so are the menu items themselves. How many times did I hear him scream in front of every one?! AND when I was trying to eat he popped up out of nowhere and started talking to me how they make their food there. Why should I care?! Finally my food got cold! This was horrible. And a kind of expensive. Seriuosly, if you want a burger you get it for 8.67, but if you (like me) want onions in your burger grilled/fried this meal is going to cost you 10.85. WTF!!!
So I discovered that right across the street from them is another pizza place. Cheaper and less annoying
