This is honestly the first review i write about anything but I just couldnt let this place have such a bad reputation. I have never eaten at the restaurant but I order delivery atleast twice a week. I can not account for the service but the food is amazing and gets to my house quickly. I have tried mostly everything on the menu and everything is great. great prices too!

The website states George's goal is to provide quality, good service and great food” none of which was true for my party of six last Saturday night. Once we were given bread and water, there was a 30-45 minute wait for our food. With two birthday celebrations to attend to there was little time for the guests at our table; we had to practically beg for more bread. When served, the entire meal of salads and entree's were crowded on our table. The food was just average and some was overcooked. After another lengthy wait one of us had to beckon for the bill when she caught the owners’ attention and after making an expression to her husband, another owner came to our table to complain about the private communication at our table. Although we made no complaint initially, we did tell him how we felt. He said he did not care for attitude and suggested that we eat elsewhere in the future. None of the guests at my table have ever experienced such behavior from a restaurant. I give this owner 5 stars for his insolence, but only one for his restaurant.
The food was not good. There were six of us and waited forty five minutes for our food. The salads arrived with the meal and during that time nobody came over to the table to ask if we wanted anything. The veal was like shoe leather, thin, very tough, and over cooked. Two of the other dinners were fair. The service was non existent. The restaurant was not full and nobody was waiting. We had all eaten there before but never again. The owners was very rude.
We have been to Georges before but never at any restaurant have we had both owners come to the table and informed us that they did not care for our attitude! After a long wait for our dinner, mediocre food, and had to ask several times for more bread we were told that they were very busy and if we weren't happy perhaps it was the wrong restaurant for us!!!! We were all amazed at that attitude since we all think perhaps an apology would have been more appropriate. All in all they are correct that it isn't the right restaurant for us. Shame on these owners for ending our evening on such a sour note.

I'm always searching for an outstanding Italian restaurant whenever I travel. The reviews for George's seemed to fit the bill. What stood out was how warm, attentive, and helpful were the wait staff and how delicious the food was. My experience was 180 degrees in the opposite direction. The slowness of the service (with the weight of the wait probably due to a slow kitchen) offset the enjoyment of the meal which was pretty average in the end. I dined with my family who know a thing about Italian food. The consensus was that either of two chain restaurants, Carrabba's or Maccaroni Grill, served better food. One member of the party thought that the pasta fagioli soup was very good. In the end not deserving of a repeat visit.

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant with excellent food and a nicely varied menu. The atmosphere is relaxed with an outside area. The wait staff is exellent. They have a full bar, with an extraordinary list of wines, scotches and vodkas.. highly recommend this restaurant.

A quiet, intimate setting. A wonderful place to take a loved one or business party. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. I highly recommend the osso buco with risotto both are delicious. Eat the fried calamary and zucchini. It is fantastic! Extremely relaxing atmosphere. Delightful staff. Would go back 100 times!!! Enjoyed every minute there.
