Even though I'm not Italian I am very picky about Italian food... I just have to say that this is the best and most authentic I've ever eaten!!! The prices are VERY reasonable... Especially for South Beach!! If you want something other than Cuban definitely eat here!!!!
Vergüenza es lo que siento! Acabamos de venir de cenar mi esposo y yo. Para empezar como en todos los restaurantes de Oceans Drive te abasallan con sus ofertas para que cenes en su restaurante. En el Il Giardino no ha sido diferente... nos han ofrecido un descuento de un 20% en la comida y bebida. Nos viene de camarera una chica que creo que era rusa pero hablaba español, preguntandonos que querriamos de beber le hemos pedido dos cervezas (pensando que seria el mismo precio que el resto de restaurantes de la zona, entre 5$ y 10$) ya que no nos han traido la carta de bebidas y solo teniamos la de comida. Nos pedimos las BBQ ribs (no estaban mal) y pollo chiken Marsala (que realmente no era nada de Marsala, era pollo con crema de leche y champiñones) pero no estaba mal, cada plato costaba 28$. Cuando pedimos la cuenta nos llega la GRAN SORPRESA del precio!! 60$ por dos cervezas!! Más la comida! Un total de 133.10$!!!! Nos quejamos del precio TAN desorbitado de las cervezas y encima nos sueltan que "señores pensar que estamos en Miami Beach". Perdona? Llevo varios días por aqui cenando y comiendo y no he pagado eso ni loca!! Y encima te obligan a dar un TIP del 18%, y sino quieres dar nada? Deberian cerrar el local por ESTAFADORES ya que si no se quejan te van robando y riendose de ti en tu cara, encima si pagas con tarjeta de crédito, no es como en el resto de restaurantes que te hacen firmar, aqui que te dan en ticket donde aparece que el "codigo PIN" está aceptado. No vayáis nunca sino quereis ser ESTAFADOS!!

Ripoff nonsense when it came to the bill. Servers did not want to split the bill between a group of 3. Then accusing us of having an attitude when all they needed to do was split the bill and all we wanted was a check that made sense and correctly added up. Funny business! They brought both my 2 friends to the back and scammed them to make them take out money out of an ATM for no reason - all bc they were trying to get an 18% extra fee included on the tab. On top of this they also tried to intimidate us by asking an individual who appeared as a bouncer to force two ladies to sign the swiped credit cards. IL GIARDINO SERVERS ARE CRIMINALS. DO NOT FALL FOR THE LURES OF THE FRONT PEOPLE WHO TRY TO GET YOU TO SIT DOWN- they offer stuff that's just a sales pitch hoax. Go some place else if you respect yourself!

I just moved to the area and I've been wandering around town. I stumbled on Table 8 and was surprised at how reasonable the prices were considering the area. Good service, food and atmosphere. I'll be coming back soon.
