I wouldn't go as far as to say they are all racists you know some of them are really friendly and will openly talk to you and the only thing i really dont like is how they talk and laugh turn their head just before they are about to stick me with a neelde like today i can most certainly say there is 2or 3 racist people there but they will get the job done and not saying that work should be like prison but they need to be a little more professional in the back there just to much cutting up talking to people that are already donating they need to get people in and out

octapharma plasma is the only plasma center around new orleans and they know this. they always mess with the money they give for donating starting july 1 they are reducing the money again now for people over 175lbs. its $18 for the first day and $35 dollars the second visit. we used to get a ten dollar bonus now its a five dollar bonus. wish there was a diferant plasma company in town i would visit them instead.

To the "racist review" Yes they are mostly black but they are not racist as long as you dont go in there acting like your better than them they treat you equally. You are not there to make friends or be treated like your special, you are there to donate plasma and leave. They have like 25 chairs and you may have to wait if you go early on a saturday or after work on a weekday because a lot of people go at that time. They cant check everyone in at once there is 3 rooms for screening, of course you have to wait. Just know that if you are going to be donating plasma its about 45 min to an hour for the donation that doesnt include the time you may have to wait. If you don't like to wait then go in when its not busy use your brain to figure that out. Also the first time you go even if they are not busy they still make you wait like 2-3 hours I guess to show you how long you may have to wait. the only part I dont agree with is if you are under 150 lbs you only get $15 each time you donate and if you are over you get 20 the first day of the week and $35 if you return the second day of the week. so you get $55/ week for being over 150 lbs and $30/ week if you are under. they need to fix that.
