customer service is TERRIBLE!!!

The lady delivered my arrangements almost 6:00 in the evening while my husband was panicking about not having a gift for me the whole day! He called and they said they had no estimated time, it can be latest delivered till 9pm!!!

So its finally delivered and the lady gave me the wrong bouquet! I go out there n tell her and she says that's what u ordered yet what I signed for said different and looked different online! There was no balloon or teddy bear also! So I ask where is the teddy bear? She says 'oh we ran out...'! Like ok and when did she plan on saying that??!!! So I then ask where is the baloon? She says,'oh I forgot to grab it, its been so busy we had 250 deliveries'!! Uh ok so that makes it ok then huh, just don't get me the bear n balloon that my husband paid for with my bouquet!!! Wtf!!!

So I call up the store to explain my situation and in the middle of my explanation, the rude girl interrupts me as if I were aggravating her cuz its been a long day for her!! New flash metairie location, its valentines day and there should be no excuse to be rude or forgetful like ur delivery driver!!

She then puts me on the phone with a man, who I had to explain again what happened, he lies n says we ran out of balloons when the lady already told me she forgot to grab it from store!! She said they were out of teddy bears!! She had no balloon due to her own stupidity!

He then makes me send him a picture of the basket to prove that I received the wrong bouquet!! Which I did prove him & delivery driver wrong!! They did send me the wrong bouquet!!! A cheaper version at that!!!!!

This place is a joke and nothing like what u see in TV!!!! This place will never get my families business ever again!!!

The chocolate strawberries at Rouses are way bigger, cheaper & tastes better anyways!!!!!

I had surgery Friday June 15th...

I had surgery Friday June 15th and my sister thought it would be a great idea to surprise me with an edible arrangement she requested that the order be delivered sometime Friday afternoon or evening after someone was home from the hospital. We got home Friday from the hospital around 230pm I saw the tag on the counter and my husband told me that an edible arrangement gift basket was coming from my sister and I got excited!!! He said the guy missed us the tag read attempted delivery 1042am!! we were at the hospital of course but no big deal my husband called the Metairie Store and the young man on the other end advised "sir we will deliver first thing Sat morning between 9 or 10-12pm" my husband rearranged his plans to wait around the house Sat with our 2.5year old while I was on bed rest and leg pain if someone was to ring the bell I could not get the door! 12 pm the 1pm rolled around no basket, my husband calls back lady voice "sir we can’t promise a time" my husband tells the woman well someone from your store told us it would be delivered first thing in the morning. The voice on the other end with NO COMPASSION her name Sheila btw! said sir we don’t give times she told us they can deliver from anytime from 9am to 7pm at this point WE ARE FURIOUS! They expected us to wait in our home all day on a SATURDAY for a fruit basket! no one couldn’t atleast call the driver to ask where we were on the list and considering they didn’t deliver to us Friday because no one was home at 1045am after my sister told them NO one would be home. You would have thought we would have been the first on the list Sat morning what a big disappointment!! Well after waiting and waiting and having that conversation with the manager we had given up hope it’s about 4pm we asked to please just cancel the order!! My husband knew he had to leave the house again and I couldn’t walk and we didn’t want to waste my sister’s money but we had no choice!! Husband left and sure enough they attempted delivery at 530pm SAT June 16th after the basket was made early Friday morning or even thur night another bad thought. I mean really they expected us to wait in our home from 9-6pm what a bad business practice and no compassion I feel bad my sister WASTED 70 bucks!!! on trying to do a nice gesture in my time of need. At the end of the day these baskets are suppose to make people feel happy to receive them not SAD and angry from dealing with the customer service and the manager of this store is just awful!!! She is ruining the EDIBLE ARRANGEMENT BRAND for sure!!! Will never use them and its sad because I know some of the other stores that are not like that we even know a franchisee and he was really disappointed to hear our story I asked him to never treat his customers the way we were treated down here in New Orleans!

Edible Arrangements Bad Customer Service/Delivery

We ordered an arrangement on 9/01/11. The website stated same day delivery and we really needed this delivered to our really good client that was having a bad day. About an hour after ordering I received a call from, Shelia in your Metairie store, stating that the driver was running behind schedule due to the bad weather and they couldn't deliver it that day. We weren't happy, but due to the bad weather we agreed that it would be delivered first thing 9/2/11. The driver didn't attempt to make the delivery until after 4:00 9/2/11. This was a Friday before a holiday weekend and they were closed. He was supposed to go there first. What really gets us mad is that we called Friday evening to cancel the order because delivery the following week was unacceptable, Sheila told us no she can't cancel the order.
Called back on 9/6/11 to see if we could resolve this. Courtney answered the phone and would NOT let me speak. Every time I tried to talk, she would talk over me.
2 complaints: very rude employee and poor delivery service!!!!!

Horrible Customer Service

Fruit was beautiful, but customer service in this store is so condescending and arrogant. They skimped in their basket and left out fruit. Let me repeat, THEY LEFT OUT FRUIT. Seriously. When I called to complain, I was told that it was not their problem anymore. They attempted to fix with a redelivery, but it never arrived. I have filed complaints with my credit card company and the BBB. If they had better customer service, things would be ok. But they were so rude on the phone!!! Call another store or order from a different company all together. Otherwise, avoid this Metairie store at all costs!! Not worth the effort.

This business deserves a ratin...

This business deserves a rating less than the choices given! I placed an order online for a fruit bouquet and Mylar balloons on 7/18/2011 for delivery to my sister for her birthday. My sister called to thank me for the fruit bouquet and she sounded less than enthusiastic about it. When asked what was wrong, she was reluctant and said, They are too ripe and aren't as fresh as they usually are. I told her I would call the store and let them know. I spoke with the owner and explained to her the situation and she said, If that's the case why haven't I heard from any of my other customers today? I taste my fruit every morning and I watch what my employees produce. It was as if she was in attack mode. She reacted in a very aggressive and defensive manner. I explained that I had no reason to lie and that this was a complaint coming from the recipient. If I spend $100 on fruit it should be the best damn fruit ever! The owner then asked for my sisters number and said she would give her a call. BAD IDEA!!! My sister said the first thing the owner said was, I'm doing you a favor by calling you! This lady clearly thinks that she is perfect and can do no wrong!!!! I thought that in order to sustain a business you need to retain customers. I dont expect anything for free, i just want what I paid for and that's a quality product. I cannot speak on everything that was said between her and my sister, but I do know the lady said she was not going to do anything about the bouquet and also hung up in her face. How dare she cause such a spectacle on my sister's birthday! You never know what someone is going through in life at that moment and all I wanted To do was to brighten my sisters day and it was ruined by this evil inconsiderate person. It was embarrassing and very disrespectful. People have choices on where they spend their money and I'm sure the average person doesn't go around spending $100 on fruit! Therefore, I'd be a fool to continue patronizing someone who clearly doesn't appreciate my business! I hope that you,corporate office will look into this matter and hopefully teach your franchisee some customer service skills.

Poor Customer is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

I placed an online order for delivery June 16, 2011 at the Metairie location. An hour after my order was placed I was contacted by a store associate named Amy who informed me my order could not be delivered due the amount of orders they had, for the Father's Day Weekend. Amy stated they could however delivery the order on Saturday and I said that was fine. Saturday morning I tracked my status online and it stated delivered so I continued on with my day only to get a phone call once again from Amy asking to speak with the person the package was for. I told her I sent him the package and then she continues to state that he would have to pick the arrangement up because that is what I told her on yesterday. I was livid, she and I had no such conversation, and now they were refusing to deliver or refund me for the order. Amy told me God bless and hungup in my face! I immediately called back and asked to speak with a manager and she pretended to be the manager Shelia White. Amy continued to talk over me in a very rude and unprofessional matter, and finally placed me on hold. I was on hold for about 5 minutes when another mature voice Shelia White returned to phone stating she would refund me the delivery charge but someone would have to pick it up. There was no apology, no empathy, no resolution! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional group of people. I normally have pleasent experiences with Edible Arrangements in other cities but this have put a sour taste in my mouth, and unfortunately I will not being doing anymore business with you all. Terrible Experience!

Where is the Customer Service?

I will NEVER order from this store location again. Not only was the customer service horrible the owner lied to me and then hung up in my face. She told me the owners were in and out and could not speak regarding a problem with my $70 order. When I called back to leave my number for the owner to call me when he/she returned the person on the phone said she was actually the owner and she was unwilling to speak to me about the issue. My order is sitting in the cooler at her establishment I asked them to cancel the transaction she told me she would not . My bank will now handle this.


This is horrible business practice. I love Edible Arrangements the fruit is always fresh and sweet but I will never use this West Esplanade location...EVER!

Customer Discrimination

In brief, I was discriminated against and I have reason to believe other customers are too from this location. I placed an order and an inquiry at 3am. Although I placed an order I was not sure about delivery so I made an inquiry at the same time. At 2:30 pm ( same day) I received a call from the owner saying she needed instructions. No problem. We verified the order and inquiry then she continued to explain that her business does not deliver to New Orleans at all, but can prep orders for New Orleans. Although the correct address is only 10 miles away. She explains that she can deliver,but for a fee of 24.00 dollars by hiring am outside carrier. I am thinking why, what is wrong with her delivery staff... I asked could I cancel...she says yes but I would only get the 12.00 dollars delivery fee back out of the 53.00 I paid. I said that I wanted to cancel. She began speaking AT me about the address, which had been addressed 5 times already. I then said excuse me.. Not able to get a word in. At this point I became irate and i used some profanity shocked at how she was treating a paying customer and beleiving she did  not understand a calm person. I had to speak this way. The owner of all people did not know how to listen, a necessary tool in business. Shockingly this owner never saw me but said verbatim ," You are acting your color and you are acting like an animal ". She discriminated against me. I have filed claims and do intend to press charges. This behavior from an owner is unacceptable. I hope someone thoroughly looks into this . I informed her of the action I would take, but her attitude continued to be nonchalant as if she had a business relationship with someone from inside the BBB( Not sure which location, but this was implied). However , this is a civil issue in 2011, which is bigger than just my order. I would like to see justice executed or directed towards this owner of this location as a lesson that she cannot treat others this way. Thank you.

A Very Bad Experience!

I had a very bad experience at the west esplanade Ave location. I called to order a delivery for valentine's day and was put on hold for so long. When I called my friend to see if she received her gift2 days after it was supposed to have been delivered, she never did receive it. They refused to communicate with me about not delivering on time and the owner was very rude and even hung up the phone on me while still talking and refused to refund me back my money. Do not order from this location. They deserved to have their business closed down!

I do not suggest that anyone who is deciding on sending an edible arrangement to use this company. I ordered online and paid extra for chocolate covered bananas and they did not add them to my arrangement. When I called to find out why, I was told that they made a mistake and put apples instead. I then asked if they could deliver the bananas that I didn't get and I was told that I could pick them up. I then explained that I was out of town and could not, and that I paid extra for them and would like a refund instead. They then got very rude with me and stated that they would not refund me because I got the apples. However I didn't order apples I ordered bananas. They didn't seem to care and when I asked to speak with a manager I was told that I was speaking with the owner. If that is how they do business and treat their customers who spend a lot of money then I feel bad for their future clients. I was told previously about their horrible service, but I thought that I would give them a chance, but never again!
