I have been a client of Dr. Frisard for 35 years. He has boarded and treated my pets with the utmost care. He takes time explaining medical conditions more so than my own physician. He takes my pets’ emergency calls at nights/ weekends and does not send me to expensive emergency clinics. He diagnosed my dachshund’s ruptured disc with X-rays as well as my cats abdominal tumor with ultrasound , he removed it an saved his life. I have been so satisfied with his service over the years. Those past critical reviews from 2010 are not being honest about his skills or his service and are probably unverified reviews from his competitors who don’t like his reasonable fees or that he takes his clients pets emergency calls himself .

until you finally figure out that dr. frisard's treatment plan is one that requires you to keep returning. it all adds up. his clinic has no advanced technology. i did not even see an xray machine. he kept answering calls because he has no receptionist. in fact, he is the only one who works there. if you have an emergency, take your pets elsewhere or you won't get a diagnosis. also, i toured his boarding area and it's disgusting. most places have staff that takes care of animals being boarded. what bothered me the most was when he prescribed preventative for my dog. it wasn't working and when i finally paid more upfront to see another vet, i found out that what was given was taken off the market years ago.



YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I've read all the reviews and disagree with most of them. Dr. Frisard has been my pets' vet for 7 years. He is kind, considerate and experienced. His fees are very fair and with barking dachshunds, I especially like the fact that we are the only ones in the office during our visits. He's a graduate of the best veterinary school in the south, LSU, and I value his opinions and vet skills because

of his years of experience. Please don't retire yet, Doc...
