I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I must say......FABULOUS burgers and fries! The fries were not crisply and they were hand cut from real potatoes. It was perfectly fried. I love semi softer fries vs crispy. Also their burgers you can tell are made from real beef and it's seasoned well. The buns are cute lol. They're not your average buns...kind of uppity but still within a good price range for the quality of their food which is great quality. I should have gotten a milkshake because they use nitrogen to make them which you can watch. It's pretty cool. This place start to get packed right after 5 on Friday nights. A load of people started coming in which I assume by that time everyone's already on their way home from work or picking up their kids from school. They do have a drive-thru too so you can take their delicious food to go without having to sit in a packed place. Their burgers and fries are like no other in the New Orleans area. The only thing I could have done without is the medium rare burger. They do cook their burgers medium rare so if you're not into that, then request that your burger be cooked well done. Even for a medium rare burger, after taking a bite, I didn't even care at that point because it was just so damn good :). Going forward I'll be requesting my burger be well done though.
THIS ABOUT THE NEW EASTERN NEW ORLEANS RESTAURANT I WAS SO EXCITED NEVER ATE AT ONE I CAME ABOUT 2:15PM IT WAS CLOSED WAS TOLD TO COME BACK AT 4:O…
Love Lee's - We need one in North Kenner - they have a new shopping center going up between Power Blvd. and Williams Blvd. on West Esplanade. Would be great to have one open there. Lee's has the best burgers and onion rings in town! However, I can't make the trek on a regular basis due to health and financially reasons. So please, please, please consider opening one in that shopping center. I believe it has 3 phases and Phase 1 looks to be just about finished. Parran's has a spot already and you know how much business they do. You can do just as much or more by representing the hamburger community.
On vacation to New Orleans. Stopped at O'Henrys to get away from all the crowds. My husband and I both had the Ny strip and Chicken! Wow awesome! Appetizer crab balls, again awesome! Cooked perfectly! Great service! Better than any steak I've had in my hometown Texas and that says a lot. Big portions.
Our waiter Justin was wonderful.. Very well mannered young man and so very nice... His service was top notch... We really enjoyed the food and Justin's service was a bonus... Please let management know he was wonderful and we will be back..Thank YouHarold & Lynn Sherrill
It was great til we got a bite of the meatballs. Meatballs are the ones u can get on frozen food aisle. I was expecting homemade ones. Plus it was hot like if they didn't have a/c on .
Delicious, moist and tasty. This burger came out of nowhere and is now my favorite in the city!
