We are a small local business that had an account with Compass bank since opening our company in 2001. Our business very successful and profitable. We have been trying to work with Compass to get direct deposit set up for our employees. In the beginning we made mistakes but since learning what we needed to do Compass has been no help at all! It has been very frustrating for us and our employees. Compass isn't putting forth any effort to try to solve their end of the problem. We are currently moving our accounts to a new bank! Not a good bank for business accounts!
Have banked with First State Bank for over 30 years, and always had very good service, from very good people.
These guys don't refund unauthorized charges! They had me sign something THE SAME DAY I discovered the unauthorized charge. Then avoided me for weeks. When I finally got a hold of the one and only person who could help me, I was told I didn't have enough documentation and my account was overdrawn by their ridiculous fees! They didn't even start the investigation. And the corporate office wouldn't help me either. Said I had to talk to the same guy who avoided me for over a month now and would not return my calls!
