VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I guess I am old fashioned. I actually spent time looking up a store of my choice and found one at 1710 S. Greenfield Road, Mesa. I wanted to purchase a battery for an automobile. I had already looked up the Group number, the Walmart part number and price before calling the store. Now automotive is not listed on the Internet so I had to go through the operator. When automotive answered after 16 rings I told the girl I wanted a battery for my vehicle, I had the group number and part number for the battery I wished to purchase. She said it would be faster if I just gave her the vehicle, make, model, and year.and it was a 351 EFI. She then asked it it was a 6 or 8 cylinder? I told her the 351 was most likely the large V8. She said she had a group 24 and listed off a list of prices. I told her I wanted to purchase a group MS she said she would go check and put me on hold. She never came back. Instead a guy comes on the phone and I explained again what I wanted. He said they could not install it as it was not the correct battery for my vehicle. That they would not lend me any tools either. I asked if I was allowed to purchase the battery take it home and install it myself? He said that was allowed. I asked if they had one in stock? He said they did and one was $60.00 and another for more. I asked it they had the one listed on the internet for $59.84? Oh ya..............God help us, the next generation is really dumb.

Sonya in the Auto Center is THE WORST Walmart employee I've met thus far.. Stephanie was great.. I came to this store after being sent from another store because they had a battery in stock after three other stores I finally made it to this location when I enter through the auto center door the representative Sonya did not say hello or anything in that demeanor but said "what do you need?" And even her coworker Stephanie that was helping another customer looked up and had a weird look on her face because of Sonia's greeting when I explained I was returning a battery that I purchased the night before because it was the wrong size and I had my original core to return she told me that the battery was used in I could not return it and kept making crazy faces and rude remarks towards me and I explained to her that there is no possible way the battery could be used because the sulfuric acid has to be mixed into the battery to make it active and has the factory sticker covering the slots she still kept telling me that it was used and even the employee next to her said it is not used in there is no way it could have been used because it has not been activated then Sonia told me a manager still has to come and do the exchange and told me she called a manager when she did not pick up the phone or call anyone at all.. I sat there for about 10 to 15 minutes and waited and then walked back up there when she finally called for a manager and then a manager came named Cali who was very nice and helpful and she asked Sonja why she was even called because no manager was needed to exchange anything of that caliber or price range.. I felt very disrespected and there was no apologies whatsoever from Sonya butt Stephanie so the whole situation and said I'm sorry on my way out.. went to 4 different stores to finally get the right battery and then I had to deal with someone with the worst attitude I have met in a long time the only thing that was positive was Stephanie and Cali..
Went to get a cell phone and ended up getting the family time Walmart plan.Bought the phone and everything needed to get started.Nick proceeded to help us set up our phone .He seemed to have trouble with the Sims card he asked me if I could get the card out that it appeared stuck. He asked several other associates to help with no luck. I heard one if the associates remark the Sims card was broke.Nick told us the phone was working and the Sims card just seemed to be put in backwards all we needed to do is take it home and find something to take it out with.He said he was going to lunch and the phone was fine. I told him I wasn't leaving till the phone was fixed he said he had no time to fix it and he's going to lunch .Great customer service.

Great customer service! I bought a replacement car battery, but Mike in the Automotive Center checked to see that my old battery was still under warranty! Not knowing anything about exchanging a battery, I REALLY appreciate his honesty and help! He saved me a lot of money when he didn't have to. Thank you, Mike!
Totally rude, and very unwelcoming feeling as soon as I walked in the store. Yes it was 8:59 and the store does close at 9pm. But I was completely unaware of their schedule lol. And the aggressive approach was way overboard. The staff are obviously low on the totem pole types and have that "I hang at Sycamore station" persona. Never going back!

The pharmacist at this location verbally insulted me multiple times while consulting me about my medication. I am 26 years old and recently had my hips replaced--I am prescribed strong medication for recovery from surgery. This pharmacist insulted me based on my AGE and MEDICATIONS PRESCRIBED. I have a bone disease, and he proceeded to remark on how this was inappropriate considering my age and how the amount might not be sufficient for my reasons of using this medication. Unacceptable
My tire was split in two places. I made it to the tire center. I stood inline for 15minutes. I was next in line when the mechanic who was outside when I pulled up and came inside about 5 minutes after I did, decided to tell the clerk they would not accept anymore work orders. His name was Geno. My husband on the other hand tried smiling and talking to him and telling him my tire was split, hoping he'd change it, he would not. If I was there and standing inline before 7 pm closing time Geno should of accepted my business. You don't turn customers away who are there before closing time and waiting inline, just because you want to go home. My husband was upset and agreed with me when he got in the car, our business should have been accepted.
