I just had a moving today and it was worst moving experience ever. It was my 4th moving within city but it was worst experience. Manager of Bargain Moving forced me to pay total fee when truck came and everything was all set. At last moment manager was threatening me either pay all amount (which was sent as quote assuming for 3 hours) right now otherwise he can call his driver back and even he didn't allowed driver to start driving. Most importantly he was forcing to do payment as cash. It was very stressful situation and I was forced to allow to charge whatever he feels right and let my moving start. He never talked for whole payment before scheduling the move. I would recommend stay away from bargain movers if you want comfortable moving. Stay away even his driver Cesar as he always tried to spent time in talking or even driving. On highways he was driving on speed of 40 where allowed speed was 65. Company and their movers only tried to be slow as slow as possible to make moving more costly. May god saves such movers and moving experience. Destiny who scheduled move was very cooperative but her manager and divers both made my moving experience worst ever. - Thanks
I hired a crew of 4 to move a 2 bd/2 ba apartment. It was scheduled for 10am. They arrived at 8:30 with no warning. My wife reviewed the estimate and handed each mover a pre-loading tip to encourage a quick move. I arrived about 10am to find less than half of my stuff loaded. Two movers were young and clearly inexperienced. During loading, at least one person was always on a break and there were several complaints about items being too heavy. They disagreed about how to carry and pack several items. One of them stated jovially “these young guys are moving slow”. Concerned, I called the company to prepare them for an inevitable complaint if the move took much longer. They told me they would have dispatch “hurry them up”. When they finally closed the truck door, almost 5 hours had passed and there were still multiple items in the apartment.
When they were late arriving at the new place I called the company again to formally complain. When they finally arrived, the driver hands me his phone with the manager on the phone. I thought he was calling for customer service but he was only calling to verify payment. He was dismissive and became increasingly rude. I told him I would be filing a complaint and I wanted my belongings unloaded as soon as possible. At almost 2:00, he set the end time of 2:30.
I reminded the movers about the tip.The driver announced the time and stopped working. The others brought in the remaining items but left them in the floor. Later we found multiple damaged items including damage to the walls in the house. The customer service experience was horrible. When we are paying for a service during an already stressful event like moving, a simple caring interaction with the company can go a long way. In addition, it would be helpful for a consumer to know that the staff they are hiring is young and inexperienced. If I had known that then I would have been prepared for the timing of the move.
Completely unprofessional. Bargain Moving has disrespectful management, and I would not recommend them. I was over charged for their errors and negligence. They were scheduled to arrive in the early evening with plenty of time to load/unload my one bedroom apartment before my storage unit closed for the day. Well, they got to my complex and parked in a way that blocked my neighbors from leaving their parking spots. I thought we would be quick enough to not cause an inconvenience and could always shift the truck around if someone needed to leave. Not long after arriving, their truck battery died. Then none of the laborers had a charge on their battery's phone to call their boss. Meanwhile, I'm trying to connect with their office and getting a voicemail each time. Next, my neighbor needs to leave and the truck is blocking his car. I went to the local auto shop to buy jumper cables (never reimbursed) for their truck. While away, my neighbor gives the laborer a charger for his phone to call his boss, I never go a call back during the move. We start the truck, but now it's later than it should be and the storage facility is closing down. To remedy the situation, I paid an additional $20 for access that night (never reimbursed). We unload the truck into my storage unit and the guys act like they're doing me a favor by lowering the rate. This is a nice gesture, but when you don't lower it more than the time/rate it took your company to get the truck back up and running, then you're only charging me more than what I originally would have paid. At this point, the laborers are on the phone with the owner who still refuses to talk to me. The following day I requested to be contacted by the office, no reply. The next day I asked to be contacted by the office, no reply. The third day, after sending more emails, the owner contacted me and acted almost like they had done nothing wrong. I was not only charged more for the time it took to repair their truck, but also a higher rate
This company is the horrible. They were hired to unload a UHaul truck into a storage unit at noon. At 1215 I called and they said that they couldn't get ahold of the driver that was coming out and they would let me know. That it did look like they were running late with other jobs. After no call back I called at 100 to check and they still hadn't heard from the driver, they gave me the run around about how they can't control what thier drivers do. Well they should hire reliable people to work for them.....anyways they said they would sent other workers out that were in the area after they finished the current job they were on and they would be there at 200, we'll guess what they didn't show up at 200. At that time I spoke with the owner of the company, who didn't really care about or apologize. He said he could have some other guys out there around 300. They got there at 315, 3 guys and they were not the best. My father had to help them move things and tell them what to do. This company should not be in business. Worst ever, stay away if you want reliable service.
THIEVES!! THIEVES!! THIEVES!!
This company is HORRIBLE. After the move, I discovered that my son's Play Station 4 was stolen along with both of his controllers and two games. In addition to that there was a sapphire bracelet, an iPad and Roku player that was stolen. These items were supposed to stay at the old house and I unpacked everything at the new house so I know they are not misplaced - THEY ARE STOLEN. I am pretty sure a nice drill was stolen too but admittedly I have to go back to the old house to verify the drill was not left behind (the drill was supposed to go to the new house). Now one could argue that maybe, just maybe these items were misplaced (although I am positive they weren't), but HERE IS HOW I KNOW THEY ARE CROOKS...They wanted me to sign something that said the truck was empty. So I made them open the truck - sure enough it looked empty except for the blankets that they wrapped my furniture with. They were surprised when I got on the truck and started moving the blankets around and found some other items they were trying to steal. I gave one of 4 guys a cleaning kit for free that I sell for $59.00 as he said he really liked it. Under the blanket a found a second cleaning kit that they were trying to steal. I know it was not an accident because the all the other cleaning kits were together in a different area - there is no way it got wrapped inside one of the blankets by mistake. It was obvious they were trying to steal it. Also, one of the guys must have been hungry as another blanket had a package of mine of Salmon Jerky around it that they were trying to steal. I should have unwrapped all the blankets completely and looked inside the cab as well. I'm really sorry I didn't. They knew I was pissed when they were caught stealing.
They also charged me for 6 rolls of shrink wrap at $39.00 per roll which afterwards I realized they only use 1 (maybe 2 but doubtful) rolls.
THIEVES, CROOKS, LIARS. Never again would I do business with these guys.

just completed my FOURTH move with Bargain Moving Inc. and once again, they are hands down the best moving company around. I am so happy I found them. Darrell and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They worked incredibly hard and finished the entire move in 3 hours flat! The team packed my antique desk extremely well and made sure there wasn't a scratch on anything I owned. They were polite and courteous as always, i.e. calling me "sir" and using words like "please" and "thank you" and made the entire experience a pleasant one. Thank you so much to Boukary and Thomas and Darrell and Mrs. Monica
Honest, reliable, professional, courteous, considerate, organized - these are just some of the adjectives that describe the company!
Within an hour of submitting an online inquiry on their site, I not only had a (non-automated) email with quote specifics, but a follow up phone call.
Mark is who I talked to from the beginning, and I was surprised later to find out that he wasn't just someone who worked there. This was his company! He had a vested interest in each and every client.
He worked out the type of move that would work best for what we had available to pay - and even came in under budget! Super considerate of our time and resources.
We highly recommend this company - honest and hard working people!!!
