Sonal Pandya O.D., F.A.A.O. is an optometrist dedicated to enhancing patients eyesight and thereby preserving their quality of life. Dr. Pandya graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2007. She later pursued a residency at the Jesse Brown and Hines Veterans Affairs Hospitals with a focus in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation. She joins Arbor Centers for EyeCare with a diverse background including both private practice and academia. Upon graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry, she initially worked in the private practice setting for a number of years in both Illinois and New York. Most recently, Dr. Pandya served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor at the Illinois College of Optometry, teaching optometry students in a clinical setting. Her areas of focus include comprehensive optometry. Dr. Pandya tailors treatments to meet individual patient needs striving to optimize their vision. Her patients describe Dr. Pandya as both caring and highly capable and they truly appreciate the time she spends educating them about the health of their eyes. Outside of the exam room, Dr. Pandya is a dedicated wife and mother of two young boys. Her hobbies include reading, baking, yoga and international travel. She is fluent in Gujarati and conversational in Spanish.
