I moved to the area about a year ago from Highland and grew up in Hammond. I never had a problem finding good Chinese food until I moved to Crow Point. I didn't realize it could be so disgusting. No 1 Chop Suey is the 5th or 6th place I tried in the area. All others were either disgusting or hardly good. This is the first place that I have tried that is better than decent. Their egg rolls are fantastic and the food has always tasted fresh and not reheated. This is better than most (possibly) all in the area.
Very good food but sometime they mess up and they would give me food for showing they are sorry but I would always say it ok. The atmosphere is always very bad I think when ever I'm in there there would be this old looking person that has a attitude I don't like. He has brownish and long hair and yell a lot in Chinese language sometime I would hear him swear in English. But over all the fools is great and other staffs seems very nice
Great value. great food. Awesome wonton soup, and almond chicken. The prices are very reasonable, the restaurant is clean, the food is fresh. The service is fast. I go here at least once per week...I love it. I would recommend to everyone. The help is very nice as well. Always a pleasant experience. I think I am going to go there now! Their chinese asian cuisine is authentic, the noodles delicious. Once you have been there, you will be back. I learned about this place from someone on the street one day at lunch time.
his place is awlful!!! I am giving it 1star hoping that you'll read this review before going. However it doesn't deserve any stars!!! The food is horrible and the customer service is less than quality!!! The 2 Chinese Women need to learn how to speak properly and respectfully before opening their mouth!!! Don't get me wrong I am not judging but what you put out is what you receive!!! After going there I completely undetstand the emptiness and why the delivery man just sat there praying someone would place an order so he could get the hell out of there!!! Please revoke their business license!
One of my favorite Chinese place since I was a kid, I love their beef fried rice.
Huge chunks of onion not cut up in my peppered steakit meets all chewing like its all fat and when delivered it was cold.
First time here. I ordered a delivery tonite, May 3, 2014. Was told I had to order $15 worth odd food. I did, only to find later that there was a delivery charge too. Anyway, after being told they were busy and that it would be 45 to 55 minutes to deliver, I said ok. 90 minutes later I called about my food to ask where it was. The girl told me that he was on the way. He arrived a few minutes later. The food was hot, and seemed fresh. I had ordered Kung Pao Chicken. However, the taste was neither oreintal in flavor nor taste. As for the ingredients, it was mostly white onion, bell peppers, and sliced carrots. It had a little chicken, a few peanuts, and something that may have been fried rice on the side. This was not what I had ordered. It was no resemblance to oriental food at all, in any way. It was terrible. Some odd the worst excuse offs oriental food I have ever eaten.I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!!NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY.STAY HOME, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
