FROM A LANDLORD- Do not trust your home to these people. If you own a home and are considering renting it out, please reconsider!!! I left my home in perfect condition only to receive it back after 3 years of renting looking like a fixer upper. The tenants destroyed the grass and sprinklers, but the property management did nothing about this. So now it is my expense to fix! They allowed a couple to rent my home and run a daycare out of it without my permission, which permitted massive damage to walls, carpet, etc. After inspecting the home after it was "Cleaned", there were multiple items that were CLEARLY not clean. Finger smudge prints, the toilet seat was black, etc. There was tape still on the walls. It was clearly not cleaned thoroughly, if at all. The house smelled of smoke, even though I had specified NO SMOKING!!! The front door has scratch marks on the inside as though a dog was trying to get out. despite not allowing pets. The tenants flooded my kitchen due to negligence, but it was at my cost to repair and replace the flooring and dishwasher. This was THOUSANDS of dollars in damage due to the water damage. The property management did not even pick a dishwasher that was the same color as the rest of the appliances, therefor sticks out like a sore thumb! There is clear indication they DO NOT care about your property!!!!!
In my opinion Johnson Property Management is a very unfriendly company. They are professional, but they don't treat you like you are a human being. They treat you like you are a product to their real customers, the property owners. Oh and first time renters that have 1 or 2 great lines of credit, forget about renting from them. They have a very odd rule, that you must need 4 lines of credit. I have a great credit score but only have 1 line of credit, because I am financially responsible and buy everything with cash.I am severely disappointed they turned down a great potential renter and treated me like a product. They are a very cut and dry, unfriendly business.
I would give them none start if it was possible, they are the worst possible property management, they are incompetent, rude and will take months before they fix anything, but be aware if you are renting take pictures of everything in the property especially if is any damage and keep it, because they will find the way to take your deposit money and even change you more money to fix something that is not even Broken, but they won't fix anything because they keep playing the same thing to the next people getting in the property you just left, we rented for two years and to be completely honest we left the property better than we found it,and when we asked for our deposit back the girl on the other side of the desk said that it was berry funny, they give us a huge list of things that need to be replaced like a brand new carpet that it took 20 months for them to replace but ones we left they want us to pay for a carpet replacement. They did the same thing to my sister, well I ges that's how they make their money.
I am currently living in a property that is managed my Assets & Investments. I find they are friendly, professional and quick to address any request that are in need of attention in my rental. They were very understanding and helpful during my application process.
I rented a house from AIM and lived there for about 18 months. During the time I found them very professional and responsive to my requests. Great company to rent a property.
1. Upon move-in we asked for a copy of our lease, either paper or emailed. We asked several times, we called & emailed, no one responded for almost a YEAR! We didn't receive a copy of the lease for ELEVEN MONTHS!2. Upon giving our notice that we will be moving out, along with the pro-rated amount which we would owe. We now have two new charges that they NEVER told us about. One is a late fee from March 2013 & it's now August 2013, we were never informed that we owed this until we gave our notice that we would be vacating. 3. They are trying to charge us a higher month-to-month fee than what we signed on our lease.4. THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR OFFICE PHONE!!! Pray you have an emergency otherwise you will NEVER get them on the phone!!!5. Ashley Boehlke handled all our stuff & is COMPLETELY RUDE when you have a complaint!!!DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
Absolutely horrible people to work with. They make everything difficult and very hostile people. Please DO NOT ever do business with them
I am sorry to say that for now, I will not be needing the services of Assets & Investments...only because I am selling my house and will nolonger need their help! After 5 years of quality service, I will need to consider my options available for which I will again be able to utilize their services! Thank you Adin and staff for your help and dedication to what you do best... managing properties!
My experience with this company, if you could call it that, has been extremely painful not only for me but for my family. We sent them multiple requests to fix our non-working refrigerator as well as a broken fence, broken irrigation system, broken garage door. We put in a work order as they told us to do. When we heard nothing from them we looked on their website portal to see where they were in the process. To our surprise our work orders had been erased. When we contacted their office regarding the matter they stated they never received it despite us personally talking to them about the work orders. They asked us to put in a new work order which we once again did. We never received a call back about fixing the above named items. When we attempted to log on to the portal once again to check the status, it popped up with a message that either our username or password was incorrect. We called them multiple times with no call back on the issue. They are completely negligent.
WOW! Talk about above and beyond service! I flew in from out of town to find a rental in Boise and after calling over 6 different companies Friday and Saturday, Mandy from Cornerstone Management was the only one who called me back before the weekend was over. I only had two days to secure our location and she helped me find the perfect home for our family to live just in the nic of time. Thanks to her diligence and sacrificing her personal time outside of office hours, I was able to find a home, finalize all details and leave with peace knowing our family had a fabulous place to live when we move here in the next few weeks.
