This is the only pet store I will go to. I bought a betta at Petco in Nampa and he died within 6 days. The employees at Petco were trying to tell me it was my fault the fish died so that way they wouldnt have to give me my money back. So I chose to drive 30 miles to Petsmart on Eagle rd to buy a betta there instead. The staff in the aquatic department were very helpful and answered all of my questions. The fish are very healthy at Petsmart and I have never had a problem.
I took my dog to the PetSmart on Eagle Rd in Meridian Idaho to have her cut washed & claws cut. They did a good job on my dog's coat but cut all but two claws because my dog bit the woman cutting the claws. I got a phone call telling me my dog had bit one of there staff. The man on the phone was extremely rude. You have to understand I've had my dog eleven years & she has never bitten me or anyone, she is also around my nine month old son everyday. She has been attacked by dogs & not retaliated. We arrived at PetSmart to get my dog & pay the bill. We were concerned that maybe they had cut her claws to short, made her bleed & that is why my dog bit the woman. The same man who I spoke to on the phone informed me that was not the case & the woman involved had blood gushing from her arm & had gone to see her Doctor. In the end they gave me $20 discount but the worst was yet to come. While waiting to pay the said woman with the blood gushing everywhere walked out of what I assume was the PetSmart break room. She stared at me while holding some rag around her forearm. Another shock was the rag was white not blood red. The guy at the checkout petted my dog & she did not bite his throat out. Since being home my dog played with my neighbors four & six year old boys & his pregnant wife & didn't savage either of them. Neither has she bit myself, my wife or my nine month old son. The conclusion been. Don't let PetSmart cut your dogs claws. They are incompetent & unprofessional. Take them to a vet where they know what they are doing.
My husband and I returned an electronic collar without a receipt and they gave us in store credit. I was very pleased to see them stand behind the products that they sell. We buy many items at the store as well as use the grooming department. I am always pleased with the quality and customer service.
