Stay away of Camper's world in Meridian especially if you have a large coach. They have no clue how to reset the Inverter or the auto start on the generator after the turning off all battery power. They don't know about starting a diesel motorhome because they burned up the starter and charged us for it. The starter on a diesel should not be run for more than 30 seconds and then needs to cool down for 2 minutes before trying again. They did not reset the inverter or the generator and as a result they ran the house batteries down to the point that the screen for setting the inverter and generator did not show settings. If the inverter is set and the generator is on autostart as soon as the batteries are to a set minimum charge before damage occurs the generator will start and recharge all the batteries, house and chassis batteries. The motorhome was in for paint and body work and was promised it would take 12 to 14 days and took 30 days. Good luck to you.
We had some repairs completed for us at Rev RV which services monaco and other brands and they had 50 amp service for customers coming in the day before and they gave me a quote before starting the work and that is the price you pay no matter how long it takes to complete the work. It took them 2 hour longer but that did not affect the price I paid. 1-541-681-8086 Coburn Oregon.
Bought a Honda generator from Camping World in Meridian, Idaho. It turned out to be defective right out of the box (rough idle, backfiring). Camping World was absolutely worthless after the sale. Told me to take it to a Honda dealer that does repair.
I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER than to buy anything at CW. When I bought a new trailer from CW a few years ago, getting warranty service from them was terrible.
High pressure sales tactics and twice lied to. It took nearly two months to get a new unit's window fixed. We were told a refundable deposit could hold our unit while we waited to hear back from another dealer after a one day holiday. We were told they would "meet and beat" any deal. Turns out we could have paid $2,500 less at the other dealer. We went in the very next day to learn our $2,000 deposit was only refundable if we bought their unit. Huh? Go to Dennis Dillion or Nelsons! And Good Sam's warranty is not as inclusive or as cost effective as Nelson's.
