I would avoid the service department at Robert’s Chrysler/Dodge! They are dishonest and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This extends up through general management as well. Their services are incomplete, absolutely not professional and they will tell you anything to get another buck out of you. Consumers beware. My battery kept dying and the transmission would start making noise after running for a bit so I took my car in to have the electrical and transmission diagnosed. They also said that they would perform a multipoint inspection. What I received for my hard earned $ was a lie that the transmission must be replaced and nothing else. No multipoint inspection, no electrical diagnosis and treated like dirt when I questioned them on it.
I had an extremely professional and friendly dealing with Meriden Hyundai. I explained to my salesman that my previous Sonata was totaled and I wanted to go into another one. I had purchased 5 Hyundai's, prior to my visit to Meriden, at another Hyundai dealership and had all my servicing done by them. The dealership reneged on their "Return Customer Loyalty" program and I caught them in improper Service charges. I wanted a Hyundai but I wanted to deal with and honest dealership. Mike, my salesman, seemed more concerned with keeping Hyundai's good name and convinced me with his words, deeds and sales approach that Meriden Hyundai was the right dealership. Mike listened to my story and to my needs in a new vehicle. He actually put me in a better car for less money after a very short negotiation. I felt a real concern for my happiness with no pressure or "game playing". All my servicing to date has been done at Meriden Hyundai and the prices are very good and the service prompt and courteous. When I call or go there I feel like family. Meriden Hyundai has my highest praise and recommendation.
