DONT GO TO THIS SALON! It's a rip off, the manager is rude and disrespectful and had a gift card for $100 said it couldn't be used because of a no show! The manager is a thief and completely cussed me out on the phone!

Alena has been cutting my hair for years. She always gives me a great haircut and she gives good recommendations whenever I want a change.
I have been to this salon two times. Both experiences were terrible. The first I got one of the males, nails were good but he was so rude. He told me to stop biting my nails or he would have my boyfriend punch me in the face. The second time I got a woman, I told her medium length and she gave me the shortest acrylics I've ever had. Also, the same male from before was at the station next to me. He started telling me and his own customer that he is "constipated and cannot s****". He also seemed pretty comfortable using many more vulgar words in front of his customer and I. Not to mention there were minors in the store also. Their service is terrible and they do not listen to what you want. I will not waste anymore of my money on this establishment.
Will never go back. I normally frequent another Asian owned nail place in Mentor, but they're closed on Sunday's so I gave nail City a try. Went with my daughter and both asked for deluxe pedicures. Waited five minutes for one technician who was laughing ang talking Chinese on FaceTime. Water was cool when I put my feet in. Older female technician told me needed deluxe pedi because "feet bad", I said yes I know. The entire time she never tried to talk to me, but nonstop talked to the " FaceTime" technician next to her. Slathered cuticle remover all over my feet but only scraped the feet for a minute. My feet are stool burning 1 hour late. Sugar scrub hot towel and lotion treatments where a brief joke. Worst $40 pedicure I've recieved.
I went in for gel/shellac on my nails. The man who did it did a horrible job. The paint is bubbly, uneven, and peeling two days later. It is also sloppy around my fingers. When I went back two days later he was extremely rude. He refused to get me back in to redo it at a time that was convenient for me, insisting that I work around their schedule. When I asked for a refund both he and the manager Linda refused, saying that "the service industry doesn't give refunds." What about paying for a service you didn't receive? I paid for a quality manicure and it looks like a kindergartner painted my nails. Needless to say I won't be back, and I would caution anyone against using their services. Worst customer service experience ever. Can't believe they are still in business.
They did a great job on my nails. I also get my pedicures there.
