Crossroads is a private, nonprofit, community-based organization that is located in Mentor, Ohio. It provides a wide range of services to children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral and substance abuse problems. Founded in 1971, the organization offers a full continuum of services from prevention and outpatient counseling to intensive services, such as partial hospitalization and therapeutic foster care for children from infancy through the teenage years. Its services include early childhood programs, school-based interventions, community support and home-based services, therapeutic foster and respite care and child psychiatry. Crossroads Partial Hospitalization Program is designed for children who have severe impairments in social, emotional and academic functioning. The program provides a therapeutic environment, including art and recreational therapies, and individual and group counseling sessions.
