DO NOT GO HERE! Angelo was not only extremely rude to me, but I've also heard numerous unpleasant stories about this business. Everything from untouched alterations, missing dry cleaning, mis charging customers, and absolutely horrible service. He is very unprofessional. i went to get a bridesmaid dress altered and when I came back the zipper was broken and it didn't fit. When I asked him to fix it he told me I gained weight. Needless to say I took my dress and walked out. If you want alteration done the right way then take your clothes elsewhere!!!
My friend sent me here as a referral to get my bridesmaid dress altered and told me how great the service was. The moment I walked in the two young ladies at the counter just stared at me and it took the owner a good minute to turn around. When the owner finally realized I was there he walked over asked what I needed done, when it would need to be done and then ripped the dress bag open. He looked at the bottom of my dress with frustration and said it would cost me $75 without even seeing what exactly I needed done with the dress on. Told me to go into the dressing room so he could look at it after he quoted me the price. As I turned around and looked at my Mom with disbelief that just happened since I was referred and going in with expectations of great service, I decided to walk out. I would not recommend anyone going here unless you like rude customer service, then I would say go ahead.

I dropped off some pants to be altered. He cut them too short. I took them back to have them let out. I went back a week later to pick them up and he had taken them back to the department store where I bought them. HE RETURNED THEM TO THE STORE ????
He refused to tell me where he took them or who he delt with. He said I was just out of luck. No lie this happened. Well after calling the police on the guy. He had to pay me the money for one pair of the pants he returned to the store.
After the police showed up he just happened to find the other pair of my pants behind the counter.
I would never take anything here again.
Looks like a lot of other people are having the same trouble. He was also throwing the "" s u e m e "" thing in my face.
trustme01 has no idea what they are talking about.

That is terrible!!! I have not had bad tailoring experiences, but with the drycleaning YES. I am done with taking my drycleaning there. My husband's shirts are always missing and/or have cracked buttons. My cashmere sweater came back missing sequins. I do not recommend this store to anyone for drycleaning. I also once walked in when he was getting snippy with a customer, maybe it was from the one who just posted the 1 star comment? I don't know, but overall it seems like this business should not be up for much longer. Tailors are hard to find, and I applaud that he does it (except for the terrible leather jacket incident below) , but I RECOMMEND customers go to a better, cheaper, friendlier place for drycleaning.

In response to the previous post, I would say that I have to defend the store. Angelo is not a lying man and he owns up to it when he screws up. Out of all the years that I have been going to the store, I have never had a bad experience as was previously described. On occasion, I have had a couple of dry-cleaning orders that came back bad, but that wasn't his fault and he even took the time to get me reimbursed through the dry-cleaning company that he uses. That is the reason that I have ranked it as a four star service, because of occasional bad dry-cleaning, but other than that I have no complaints about Angelo. He has given me a discount on a number of occasions and is always interested to hear what I have to say. Never have I had an experience where he has refused to take care of me, lied to me, or shown any blatant disrespect towards me. Also, anytime I have had anything tailored by Angelo, it has come back in pristine condition. So do not believe everything that was said in the last obviously spiteful post. From my experience with Angelo, and the numerous times that I have been waiting in line and I heard him tell customers that there was defects in the clothing they were going to have tailored, I am inclined to believe that Angelo was telling the truth and would have no reason to lie about accidently damaging a customer's clothing.
Angelo is an honest Tailor that is happy to help all that come into his store, and never have I had a problem with him that I couldn't talk to him about and fix. So, do not let this obviously spiteful post stop you from going and checking him out for yourself because in my opinion, he is one of the best damn tailors in lake county.

Do NOT use this business! I took a leather jacket in to only have a snap fixed and they ruined the jacket. After I picked it up from Angelo's I took the jacket home and removed the plastic cover. The snpa was fixed, but when we turned the jacke around we noticed a huge pucker (looks like something hot was placed on it and melted it - not repairable)on the back of the jacket. My boyfriend took the jacket back to Angelo's and the owner said ""ask your girfriend she knows"". We went back in together and the owner stood there got extremely defensive and lied saying that he showed me the mark on the jacket when I brought it in and asked me what is this and said that I told him I don't know. This was my boyfriend's favorite jacket - I would NEVER say I don't know, I am not 16 years old. He then proceeded to say I was lying and folded his arms and said ""s u e me"". The jacket is ruined and all we wanted was for the owner to step up and apologize and take responsibility. We will NEVER use this business again and I suggest NO ONE EVER USE THIS BUSINESS. I will galdly pay the extra money and go somewhere I can trust and who operates an honest business.
