Good menu, good service, but slower service

The menu is good- light choices, smaller plates, and traditional Italian food. The servers are friendly and polite. They can recommend which wines go well with whatever food you are ordering, which is rare. The main drawback is that the service is slow. One time it took us 2 hours to get our drinks, soups, salads, and coffee. Fine for a leisurely week-end meal, but avoid if you have to get back to work in an hour.

comfy neighborhood Italian

Angelo Mio is my standby neighborhood Italian restaurant. The staff all speak Italian and are quick yet hospitable.

If you like pink sauce, this is the place for you. They have many dishes with pink sauce.

Entrees are mostly $11.95-18.95, appetizers are mostly $6.95-9.95, and desserts are around $6. The restaurant is relatively quiet and you can get away with a wide range of attire (jeans and suits are both OK).

No need for reservations during the week but be sure to make them for the weekend.

Wonderfully Priced Italian Food

Best italian food in Stanford general area for under $15 a plate, although the entrees are a bit too focused on chicken. Decent wine list, extremely friendly service, nice warm feeling inside. If you want a good italian dinner, and don't want to deal with the noise and massive quantities of Buca, then head on over to Santa Cruz ave.
