As a minority family we were welcomed in to get minority numbers up. Once enrolled we were never included in events, especially socially. Had many problems with teachers recording "ERRONEOUS" grades. If you are not a minority, you will definitely fit in ; otherwise, DON'T BOTHER!!! Save your children from the low self esteem like our kids suffered after we left. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME! Minority families last only a year maybe two. A rapid turnover for minorities at this school. I WONDER WHY?!!The only diversity at this school is the football team. Only the 8th grade team. Because there aren't enough students from the school to make a team, they BORROW BLACK BOYS from Binghamton to play for them. But check the yearbook! How many of these black boys are actually ALLOWED to attend this "white privileged" school. Let me answer that for you. "NONE"!!!!CHALLENGE: Those who choose to leave glowing reviews, please speak honestly about the schools' criminal lack of diversity and how distant and non inclusive the minorities are treated from the students, teachers and especially the majority parents. It is easy to speak with wonderful views when you are a part of the majority and treated beautifully. But, WHAT ABOUT THE MINORITIES? Who will speak for them?? WILL YOU, THE MAJORITY GROUP steeped with your "RICH history" (code word= racism) and exclusive community???? Very rarely are the minorities invited to your dinner parties, neighborhood parties, kids Birthday parties, play dates, and let's not forget definitely NOT THE SLEEPOVERS!!! TOTAL EXCLUSION!!! Go on I'm waiting for just ONE brave person from the majority to speak to and for the minorities at this school about their SO CALLED WONDERFUL TREATMENT AND EXPERIENCE!!! ANXIOUSLY WAITING!

This is a horrible school. They used to have a decent program, but now they are just taking a lot of money from parents and getting by on their past reputation. I've met many people who were unhappy there and transferred their kid(s) to another school in Memphis, such as Grahamwood or Holy Rosary. It's a convenient location if you live in Midtown, but that's about it. There are a few great teachers, but the high-level administration is awful. They don't care about the students, and there's no individualized instruction. I feel like they are trying to make them into little robots who grow up to be big robots. Frankly, it's a snobby school that does not live up to the "high standards" they promote. The only real standards they have is that the parents can pay the tuition, as well as commit to donate a certain amount of additional money every year. Oh, and if your kid ever has any behavior issues or is slightly "different" in any way, forget it.
GREAT SCHOOL FOR MY ANY CHILD AND I LOVE THAT EVERYONE CARE ABOUT EACH CHILD. I WILL TELL ANYONE THAT THE STAFF CARE ABOUT THE STUDENTS AT SE ACADEMY. LOVE WHAT I SEE AND WHAT THE STAFF DO EACH DAY
I went back to Memphis after my mom past. I'm 58 years old and wanted to visit the school I went to ~40 years ago. When I got there the principal took time to show me and my family the whole school . I couldn't believe the kindness and patience. I went on and on to my co-workers how incredibly disciplined and respectful the children were. It's been a few years since that visit but it has always been a wonderful experience I'll never forget. Christy Conway 1964-73

Don't care about the kids only the money! My child had an accident report every other day. If you sending home multiple accident reports for one child then something is awfully wrong. Some of the staff members are too young to attend to kids properly. They're unprofessional on so many levels, things like letting kids walk around in nothing but a diaper and sending them home like that, molly face, snoty nose , dirty clothes, etc. Take your child elsewhere if you better caring for you child.
My son has been at St. Paul since the third grade. The principal and faculty are dedicated to every aspect of the children's educational and personal growth. What I truly am grateful for is the Christian atmosphere. The school begins and ends with prayer, and allows the children to participate in Mass. Overall, I would recommend sending your child to St. Paul.
St. Paul Catholic School has been a dream come true for my family. My middle child is currently in Kindergarten and the growth that we have seen in her thus far has been phenomenal. I am in the process of transferring my oldest daughter next year. I pray that they are able to acquire 7th and 8th grade in the near future. If you are looking for a wonderful faith-based school where the staff is hands-on and involved, this is the place for your child. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them all. We love St. Paul!!
My daughter has been at St Paul since pre K she is currently in the 5th grade. I plan to keep her there through the 6th grade and if by a blessing from God they open up for 7th and 8th graders that is where my daughter will be. This to me is one of the best learning environment for any child. The school is very structured and the teachers as well as the principal pays close attention to each child there. They have a hands on atmosphere and keep in good contact with the parents. I love St Paul and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting the best quality education for their child.
THIS A EXCELLENT SCHOOL DIVERSE .A GOOD SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES THIS IS ARE THRID YEAR AT ST. PAUL'S WE HAVE FOUND IT TO BE THE BEST SCHOOL IN MEMPHIS.
