I have been on my spiritual path and part of the Mid-South Pagan Community for 25 years. A few years ago I was looking for a new group of like minded people to be a part of; I had been out of the community for a few years due to work and life. I went to all the local groups to see which one felt right to me. I found a new home at The Temple of the Sacred Gift. I have found a warm loving spiritual family and a wonderful place to worship. The present and former clergy have taken a dream and made it a reality, to provide a permanent place of worship that is open and available to the public. This is an accomplishment that is rare in the pagan community, where most groups meet at private residences, parks and public places. Being in the South where it seems that we only have two seasons winter and summer it is nice to have a indoor space to gather in, especially as I get older. The members of the Temple are a very diverse group in many ways, spiritual path, age, race, sexuality and experiences. The Temple is there to help you on “your path” and guide you to find your own answers. Come worship, learn and share.
The store has dedicated and hard working staff who helped me on.the staff are very polite. The store is smaller and old. This Walmart accomadates Raleigh, North Memphis , Bartlett and Arlinghton communities. It is across the srteet from a hosptal . There is not another Walmart for 20 miles. And yes, it may get alittle dirty sometimes but not most of the time. Let us consider the busy high traffic corner of Covington pike and Austin peay. I dont know what I would do if Walmart was not there. I wish the owners would up grade the building because It serves large and diverse community of people. Walmart store at Austin Peay Hwy. meets the daily needs of the people . I say keep up the good work Staff members. I love you.
I love JCPenney, but I've had such a bad time with the one in the Wolfchase Galleria! I had to return to the store TWICE to fix things that were wrong with one purchase, and although the manager apologized, he didn't offer any incentive for me to return to the store. They often leave the security devices on clothes, and the price may ring up higher than the ticket says! My money was refunded, but should it have taken two trips back?? I still shop there - I'm just careful about looking at the receipt and feeling for the security devices before I leave. Too bad - JCPenney's used to be nicer.
I have been a member of Temple of the Sacred Gift for two years and have found it to be a welcoming supportive environment for myself and my children. The HP and HPS go above and beyond to be be available to members. Members voluntarily pay dues of 10 dollars a month to help support the building and utilities. Temple has open ritual twice a month in their own space- not in a private residence. All activities are open and children are welcome. I have never encountered negativity at Temple.
I'm sooo excited about this church. I've been visiting for awhile. I finally join last month. What an uplifting word that the man of God bring every Sunday morning. I love the fact there always doing something for the youth. They are actually taking there youth on a mission trip. They also except you for who you are. When you visit you will see all nationalities. It's amazing that the church is located on national!!!
JUST HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH THIS WALMART. HAD A CO-WORKER WHO LOST A LOVED ONE NEEDED TO TAKE FOOD BUY THE HOUSE. I CALLED THE DELI DEPARTMENT AND WAS TOLD IT HAD TO BE ORDERED 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE ; WHEN I TOLD HER WHAT HAD HAPPENED SHE GOT IT READY FOR ME THANK YOU DEBRA WILL NOT FORGET THIS. THE ABOVE WILL BRING ME BACK TO WAL-MART I HAD ALMOST LOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR STORE AT THIS LOCATION.
Every experience I have had with this Walmart has been awful. The Cashiers are very discourteous. The shelves are never stocked. I've tried once to talk to a manager to help for our school. No one returned my calls. I've called since to speak with a customer service manager to place an order and no one would answer the phone. This is the only Walmart I've been to that gives awful service.
I LOVED the service!!! Shazy did such a great job, in a acceptable period of time, & a GREAT attitude, Lovely person, & an AMAZING professional service!!! I liked her a lot!! I recommend her to all you ladies that wants a change and being pampered AND have a nice time/talk!! SHES the BOMB! My hair looks healthier!!! THANKS Shazy!!! :)
The store is clean, but the employees are rude and slow to help nor are they quick at the checkout. This store is very unorganized, with food in two different sections as well as the baby stuff! I will not be back to this store!! Also parking lot is tore up and very little space!
This location is much better than the Covington Pike Store. They may keep you on hold but at least they came back to the phone to inform you that they were doing a "all call" for the department I needed! No one can beat Goodman Road location!!!!!!!!
