Called Greenway about a clog, as they are the local contractor that AHS uses for almost everything. They came out ... left a mess ... *but*, they came on time and seemingly fixed the clog. Tech said he hit some roots and cleaned them out and all was well.
THREE DAYS LATER ... and unfortunately, over a weekend, the same problem pops up. Called Greenway again. They came out ... send the *same tech* ... and this same tech hits MORE ROOTS (meaning he didn't do a thorough job the first time), cleared out the clog and left. Problem solved for a second time.
ONE DAY AFTER THE SECOND VISIT ... same problem. Talked to the Customer Service Manager @ Greenway after hours and I genuinely get the feeling from her that they're gonna resolve this and make it right. I get a call from them @ 745AM the next morning (today) and she tells me that they're pretty much done with the problem. They won't warranty their work on this issue (her words, not mine). Then, I'm told the only solution is to let them come out and do $800-$1200 worth of work to install a "clean out" in our yard. Other than that, they're done. Nothing more they can do.
So ... no camera to determine the shoddiness of the previous work. No new tech to go behind the one that had to take two trips to *not* fix the problem. No new nothing. Just a way for them to come out and make a huge cash grab on the money they lost on less than optimal work.
So, I'm out $175 at this point to STILL have a main sewer line clog ... and Greenway's answer isn't a different tech ... or a camera ... or an apology ... it's a $800-$1200 service call or nothing.
We have used Greenway for A/C, dishwasher, and water heater repairs. They are the best home service company we have ever used. All three of our service techs were polite, knowledgeable, and maintained the highest quality of customer service we could have asked for!!!! Please know that this is a solid company that you can trust!
Greenway is the epitome of a dowmhome business that cares about their customers. I have never had better technicians for any jobs that thr best results were done. I did have a very complicated problem with a compressor not working properly .After a week -three compressors later technicians coming everyday even on Sunday-the problem was solved by Mr.Barney who is over heating and air .He walked in my home with a promise I Will Get Your air Fixed Today.He Checked every thing over again and asked the question where is your electrical box? I told him I had replaced it a couple of months ago.he said he wanted to see old box.Wow what a smart man--he already suspected the problem was electrical--he touched the metal door and fire shot out. He opened it up and found wires had melted together and could have burned our home down.We got our company back out to fix it and never any more problems with our air that Greenway fixed.Thank you Mr.Barney and Greenway for saving my home and maybe our lives also.G.Cummings
Greenway is connected to a home appliance insurance company that I had before cancelling. They came out and put in two pounds of Freon. But never fixed the problem I called about no air upstairs. I had to get another company. The new company came out and said they had overloaded my Air with to much Freon and had to take some back out. Told me it would ruin my compressor with in weeks. Then Green way could sell me a new air conditioner. On previous dates and other problems I found they were very unreliable and not trust worthy. As with a dryer problem I had where they refused to replace a worn roller but later did after much aggravation. Do your self a favor use someone else.
my name is Kathy L. On 5/27/11 Greenway service my a/c . They kept in touch till the technician arrived. Alan was professional ,work quickly .Answer my questions,gave great feedback on energy saving. Alan told me what to look forward to with my a/c .Great personailty ,take pride in his work. This is not the first time Greenway has come to my home,each time i get great service. Thank you , Alan,Thoams, ?, and Greenway !
While not always perfect, we do try to hire and keep good employees. I am glad Alan was able to take good care of you.

I had contacted AHS and they had referred me to Sears which was a nightmare! I called AHS back and they sent out Greenway. They came at the appointed time, did a great job, were respectful and professional. The technician also went out of his way to help me fix a drawer in the kitchen. Problem solved and thankful to have it over with.

Late one afternoon, the heating element caught fire in our GE electric range, and we called Greenway for service.
The next day, they arrived 'on time' to repair the problem. The service technician was great! He knew what he was doing, and in short order a new element was installed, and our oven was as good as new.
I could not be happier with the service call, and will be calling Greenway with all of our appliance and plumbing needs in the future!

I had the need to utilize my AHS Warranty yesterday for two problems at my home. My experience with Greenway was wonderful. I had two of the most knowledgeable and friendly technicians I have ever experienced. For my appliance problems, Les took care of me and for my plumbing problems, I had Jermey. Both of these guys did great work and really explained what they were doing and gave us tips on how to take care of our equipment and get better use. I was very impressed with this level of service. I would highly recommend Greenway, Les and Jeremy.
Our air conditioner stopped working mid-morning and we called on an emergency basis due to several health conditions in our family. Everyone we came in contact with from the person who took the call to the technicians were professional and concerned. Someone was out within an hour. A part had to be ordered, but the service techs picked up the necessary elements themselves so that the unit could be repaired as quickly as possible. Wonderful service! (and I don't say that often anymore)

If there was a way to give a negative star review, I would, but unfortunately, they are making me rate it, so I'm giving it one start--against my better judgement. I have not had A/C since May 23, 2011, and today is August 24. Thanks to another company, I finally got it taken care of yesterday--what a ""nice"" summer for one of the hottest ones in history!
I have been fighting with them for over 5 years on this unit. They cut/pasted it to death. Last time they came out, they said there was nothing wrong with it (even though the thermostat was maxed out at 90). Since the other company came and looked at it, they found a leak in both the attic and the unit outside (one of them coming from one of Greenway's cut/paste jobs)!
I now have a new unit installed (again, not by Greenway), which would have saved us a lot of time, money and sweating, had it been done 5 years ago when the problem started!

The service that I received from Cole Jacobus at Greenway was great! He was very professional, courteous and respectful (which was very refreshing). I appreciate the extra time that he spent explaining the issue with my HVAC unit to me and providing me guidance in its proper maintenance. If you need HVAC repairs and live in the Memphis Metro area, you should certainly call Greenway and ask for Cole Jacobus.
I was extremely pleased with the appliance service I received from Greenway. Their technician took the dryer completely apart, fixed it, and then put it all back together again. I will never know how he was able to do that but he did and he was great. I have used them quite a few times now and they have always provided me with great service which is hard to find these days.

In the last 2 days we have had the pleasure of having two Greenway technicians come to our home for service calls. (David Toles for plumbing & Cole Jacobus for Air Conditioning). I felt compelled to write and express my sincere thanks for the service we received from both Cole and David.
My wife and I both appreciate not only the work, but the courtesy and kindness that both of these fine men demonstrated during their visit. They were caring, optimistic, and really made us feel confident and comfortable that they were here and would take care of the issue.
I rarely take time to stop and write for things like this, but they were so exceptional I knew I needed to express my thanks. I hope Greenway will recognize them in some way and again thank you for having such wonderful servicemen like Cole Jacobus and David Toles in your organization.
I started dealing with Greenway when my air stopped cooling. The techs that came out to my house were extremely helpful, respectful and very professional.....especially Brian! After some repairs we learned that we needed a new unit :( ..........I spoke customer service (also very polite, understanding and helpful) Greenway agreed to bring me out a new unit for no additional charge! And the best part is they delivered and set it up the same day I called!! Greenway will definitely be getting my business in the future!!!
I called Greenway when my Air-condition stopped cooling this month. They sent a technician out to check unit. Added freon. That afternoon the fan motor stopped working, That same dsy the technician returned and replaced the fan motor.. Unit is doing great. They really or concerned about their customers and their techs are very courtious and Knowledable. They really care.
Hottest stretch of year so far with record temperatures, the service man came at 8 pm at night and I was up and running in an hour. Didn't charge overtime, the price was moderate but well worth it. I had someone else tell me about them, found out they do plumbing too which is nice to just call one number.
Greenway Home Services has been wonderful to us. Our air conditioner went out and they responded within two hours of the call even though it was during the night. My husband has COPD and cannot breathe without oxygen and was having a very difficult time breathing because the house was so hot. The tech came out and repaired the air conditioner within 30 minutes. He was so nice and so respectful! He went beyond his call of duty and changed our heat filter as well. I would recommend Greenway Services to any of my friends and to anyone reading this. Thank you so much Greenway!

Greenway has provided me with exceptional fast service. Unlike many services the repairman, Alan, explained each problem as well as the cause. He was more than willing to answer my questions in terms that I could fully understand. I was more than pleased with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.
