Overall

This is my second time going to this shop to get some braids. The first time was amazing! The second&last time was horrible. I thought I would recieve the same professionalism as I did the first time going...NOT!!! I'll keep my $230.00 in my pockets.

Highly recommended

This is my second time having my hair braided here and let me tell you... They were excellent on both occasions. I love my box braids and I would recommend these lovely ladies any day. Only took them four hours to complete and I will be paying them a visit again.

First African Hair braiding is excellent

I have been getting my hair braided for about 3 years and it has never been healthier. It always grows at least 3 inches and the service is fast about 4 hours with take downs about 40 minutes! My whole family goes

Don't get your braids done here!

Unfortunately, their only two concerns are to get your money and get you out-- quality is not a priority! They ask you to pay about 10 minutes into braiding, so if the job they've done is not worth the 150 dollars or more that you've paid you have no recourse!!!

Two women are tugging and braiding your hair, which is not so bad as long as their work is uniform; but it isn't! I got individuals. One woman was precise and neat and the other made large sloppy parts with larger braids. They obviously saw each others work and never bothered to consult or correct each other. They both just wanted to finish regardless of the service you paid for!

I paid 150 dollars in a recession for a mediocre job!!! It makes me want to cry!!

Truthfully, any Memphis teen who has been braiding for over a year would do a job comparable, indeed better than two women in this shop. The teen would humbly charge much less for a good and uniform result! And even the teen would know that your customer's hair and happiness is the best advertisement.

Save your money, your time, and your expectations! Don't get your braids done here. Plus they have roaches which scared me.
