Great salon with flexible extended hours. Will work with your schedule. All stylists are great and very knowledgeable. Parking can be tricky on the weekends.

Before moving to Memphis I paid over $35 for a hair cut at my previous salon. However, the customer service was impeccable, and I felt it was worth the money.
I went to Capelli for about a year. I saw a junior stylist to save a little money, but it was still expensive for a men's cut ($28). Most of the time I liked my cut, but seeing a junior stylist I did lower my expectations. Still, it's easy to see all the stylist are well educated and enjoy their work. I never got cancelled on, and I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for any of my appointments. However, that's probably because my stylist was booked lighter than some.
My biggest problem with Capelli, and why I won't be returning, is the customer service is not up to par with even a mid-level salon. I was taken back when the receptionist to me upon checking in to go back to my stylist's booth and let her know I was there. Ross the Boss doesn't even make clients do that! It was especially awkward since my stylist was still with a client. The conversation went something like this:
Me: Hi, I'm here for my 3:00 appointment.
Stylist: (with a startled and rushed look) OK (looks back at client in the chair)
Me: ............Um..........you want me to wait up front or by the shampoo bowls or.....?
Stylist: Just.....well.....just go find a shampoo bowl and see if someone won't shampoo you. I'm almost done.
Now this may be picky, BUT if you want to advertise yourself as 'The Best in Memphis' then you're going to catch some flack for little stuff. The refreshments looks like something from a haphazard family get-together. And, no, they don't always have them available. It's a hotel ice-bucket that's mostly water with a few surviving ice cubes floating on top with a stack of small, paper Dixie cups beside it. The drinks they have are 2 liters of coke and diet coke. The snacks are Keebler or Chips Ahoy cookies on a glass plate. Upscale? No.
Bottom line: Good at cutting hair, and I'm sure they're good at coloring hair, too. However, the price does not match the overall service and care. If Capelli wants to continue to be the 'Best in Memphis', I strongly suggest they take a step back and reevaluate their customer service on all levels.

For the first time since Ive moved here to Memphis I have finally found a salon that is very accomadating to my hair need. The stylists are professional and experienced and well trained in the latest trends. Also i like the fact thier prices vary so it fits in with my budget. I love just to go get a blowdry with my stylist so i always have a great look for the weekend!!!!!!!!! I would highly recommend this fabulous salon!

I am a regular customer at Capelli and always have a good experience here. My girl is extremely talented and takes her time with me. I love the end results! She gets the color just the way I like it and gives me hip new styles each time. She knows what cut looks good with my face and I leave happy each time and will continue going back. I highly recommend this salon. The atmosphere is fun and I enjoy watching all the people come in, then seeing the ""after"" results. And....the head massage while getting my hair washed is the best!

I have been trying to use this salon for three years... The handful of times that I haven't had my appointment canceled, I sat waiting for over a half and hour. However my girl is extremely talented. Some of the best color I've ever had. If you are willing to pay a ton, wait, be rescheduled, or canceled on - you won't be disappointed in the results. Only the service.

Capelli is a high end salon that doesn't cater to the people it might want to keep. I was canceled on, only to be kept waiting 25 minutes past my appointment the next time. When you check in, you are expected to walk back and tell your stylist you are there yourself. A horrible woman washed my hair brutally too. All in all, their people have good skills outside of customer service. Guys haircuts are also overpriced at $35.
