This barbershop “The VIP” is hands down the best barbershop in Memphis. My boys have been going to PJ for over 2 years. He is not only a punctual, kind, and respectful barber, but he has mad talent with those clippers and great with children of all ages. Also, the new look inside his shop is very pleasing to the eye. If you want to look like a million dollars, Mr. PJ at The VIP is the place to be.

The best barbershop in the entire Memphis-Metropolitan area. With luxurious seats and great beverages, it's also an amazing area to hang out while getting a haircut by the master barber.
A great barbershop. No long waits. Nice atmosphere. And they also do facials. Would recommend them to anyone.
The Underground Hair Gallery, is the new barbershop to come get a great haircut. Great service and prices..

Elvis (literally) cuts my hair. He does a good job. I have recommended him to several people. He gives a killer fade
Excellent shop...friendly atmosphere! Very professional, get you in and out in a very timely manner.
I took my two sons there for a haircut I always pass by and see a lot of cars. We have been in Memphis almost two years and this whole time we have been searching for a barbershop. Well let me say that we are still looking...... This was the worst haircut they have had since moving to Memphis not to mention the most expensive!!!!! Now don't get me wrong this gentleman was just that very kind, sweet, polite, respectful and then some, but he gave my children the worst haircut I have personally seen in my entire life. #verydisappointed
Stacy is an over the top when it comes to the hair industry. All of her work is quality and star appearance. I must say her work is worth the price. She goes far and beyond when it comes to producing the best. All her customers, I notice keeps coming back for more...LoL! Did I mentioned she's now customizing her own wigs as well. Just got one, and I'm the talk of the town right now...lol. Good work Stacy, thanks.
Lost my previous stylist to retirement. Decided to return to my roots and searched for a neighborhood male tonsorial master, like Red's Barbershop in the Normal/Buntyn neighborhood growing up near Memphis State before it became University of Memphis and flattened Red's old place into a parking lot. But I digress.Did a web search and realized I have been driving by Blackstone's current location since the 1980's and never noticed. So I gave Mr. Blackstone a try. He did not chop my hair, but deftly clipped and trimmed, quickly and efficiently and hot lather/straight razor trim. Reasonable price of $16, did not have time for a full package of shampoo, cut, shave and trim beard similarly priced, but plan to.The experience was as I expected. Mr. Blackstone is a Master of not only tonsorial arts, but a personable conversationalist, w/a mature eclectic taste in music.
