When checking in, we were upgraded from a double bed to a king because they thought we'd be too crowded--for free. After a long day of driving I could not have been happier. Everyone there was incredibly helpful and nice, and the shuttle to Beale St. was especially convenient. I felt really cared for. When our room keys stopped working, it was taken care of immediately. The room itself, too, was in great condition and the bed was comfortable.

Thank you so much for taking the headaches out of organizing a reunion. You made it so simple, professional and delightful. It was great seeing everyone and not having to worry with all the details. Little things like pictures on our name tags, etc. just made the perfect touch! I would highly recommend this service to anyone needing an organization reunion either for school, work, etc. These ladies know how to entertain!
The hotel is lovely and modern. The service from the front desk was wonderful. The keys did not always work on the doors which was frustrating when I had to walk around the building in the cold. I got woken up both nights by the train across the street so if you are a light sleeper you may want to stay elsewhere as it is rather loud. The rooms were nice and comfortable and above all the hotel was clean.
This is a nice to place to stay if you are in town for a couple days and looking for a basic, cheap place to stay. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was decent and free. It's no Hilton, but that's not what we wanted anyway. It was a quick drive from Beale St. and right off an interstate ramp. All in all, we had a good stay.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November 2012. We stayed in a 2 room suite with a balcony. The rooms were very spacious, well maintained and clean. The balcony was a nice size with 2 chairs and a table. The trolley stop was right outside the hotel. The staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
I got a shuttle bus to Beale street for 3 bucks and a taxi back for 10. My room is clean as a whistle and well presented. It's an older building but the presentation and staff attitude is miles ahead of other places I've stayed for a lot more money. No funny smells and the air on works good.
I have been livimg here for over 6 months, in the begining of the summer we had some AC issues but the staff handled it very nice nad proffesional and I got a brand new system and did not have a problem since, I have and would recommend this place to all my friends
I had a great experinece staying at the double tree. The customer service was great and i love the cookies. The room was very clean and in a nice area. I would recommended the double tree. I was in town visting a friend in memphis from NY.
One of nicest hotels ever and big!! In the lobby they had ducks come in the morning to the fountain and then at night they have the red carpet out again for the ducks to go back up to the roof where they live. It is just so wonderful to watch.
We were just passing through Memphis. The location of the hotel was very convenient for the things we wanted to see and do in town, and for continuing on toward Arkansas.
