I have been a patient of the Poplar store for more than 15 years. Today I had enough of the incompetent front desk staff. I returned to purchase some more contacts. They didn't have my file and questioned me. They found my file and it was just a piece of paper with some notes. Didn't have the Time to have an official file I guess or lazy. I had an issue an they said they needed to talk to the doctor and then promptly sat down. I wondered how you going to talk to the doctor sitting. Proper procedure would be to say, just a minute let me speak with the doctor, it didn't happen. I left and told them there service was poor and I will not return to their store ever again. Lazy front staff, and I have had issues with no record being found almost yearly My last visit was an exam less than two months ago, and still can't give me a proper record and file it correctly.
The employees working at the Germantown Charles Retina Institute are by far the most knowledgeable and patient caring I have ever had the opportunity to have as my doctors. The only downfall is the amount of time you are there (4+ hours) for an appointment. All my appointments have been Monday thru Friday during the day. Sometimes all day. Regardless I still go and will not change doctors.
Phone tag is the norm with the one person who sets appointments and who is only available for phone calls one or two days a week at the Midtown office, and she doesn't return phone calls promptly. I have a procedure scheduled next week, was told I would get paperwork. Still no paperwork, and the office just says they will leave messages for her. But the doctors are awesome!
We drove nearly 3 hours on icy roads to make our needed appointment, to find out they were closed. No one bothered to call us. Will never be back!
Absolute 5 Star care from Dr Grey Mrs Grey and their staff. I have been a patent for a number of years traveling from Bartlett to South-land Mall. So excited that they have been blessed with a beautiful office in Bartlett Allee Webb
If you pay them up front that will not call you to pick up your order it took two months and I had to call them. I want be back.
I spent over an hour this morning and six calls trying to make an appointment to get my eyes examined and then buy new glasses. As I write this I still do not have an appointment. I was placed on hold four times only to have no one answer. First time someone did answer they ask me to hold please and never returned. Second time someone answered I imformed them I wanted to come in for an eye examine, very quickly I was informed "we take walk ins" and placed on hold, no one returned. I would have been a new customer for this location. After this they will not hear from myself. What they need to know is that they not only lost my business, my wife, Daughter in law and Grandaughter all were in the process of moving our eye needs to this location on Winchester. Now due to there rude phone etiquite not just one but four persons will no longer ring there phone.Strongly suggest they investigate who is answering there phones!!!
When calling to make an appointment, the person answering the phone was abrupt and rude when answering my questions. I still made an appointment. When talking with a co-worker I mentioned the appointment and she stated the same rudeness and having to wait over 3 hours without being called for her appointment. She left without being seen. I cancelled... First impressions are the best impressions, the schedulers are the first contact and give you the feel of the office. I suggest this group work on their schedulers.
