Hertz customer service is VERY Rude!
I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. The car was not clean when I picked it up. But they want you to clean it and have it show room fresh when you drop it off. The counter girl has an attitude from the devil. Would have done better going somewhere else... NEVER AGAIN!!!!
We were picked up at our hotel but we waited a half hour and had to call to get them to come. We had ordered a mid size car but all they had was a Ford Transit-more a van than a car. We took it. After we were on the road for an hour, we tried to get Sirius to work. Calling the Enterprise office we were told to come back to the office but we were o. the road so we didn't turn back. After our trip, the office called to find out if we were pleased and after hearing our dissatisfaction we were given a break on the rental fee. That's good customer relations!
Poor.Poor InventoryPoor AttitudePoor ServiceGo Somewhere Else.this facility acts as though you are a burden upon them, cars not usually on lot and those that are where hammered and likely never cleaned or serviced. Brings to mind the now defunct "Rent a Lemon" But they expect stellar credit deposits (even from Fortune 5 Companies) for marginal vehicles, substandard service and plenty of free attitude.Not certain this is a reflection of Enterprise in total but stay away from this location, it is nothing but a hassle and heartache and over priced at that!
National is always on the mark when I rent a car with very limited wait time. The associates are always very friendly, patient, and thorough about charges you may or may not receive. I have never had one bad exeperience with this rental service and would highly recommend them to others!!!!
Auto direct car lot at 1780 getwell rd is a bogus car lot. They sell raggedy cars that they don't even have car faxes or TITLES too!! I've had my car since July of this year and they have yet to give me my real tags! & on top of that I have had to fix all the issues that was wrong with the car after explaining to them several times what was going on with the vehicle. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this very bogus unprofessional car lot.
Had to wait 30 min for a car because they ran out. Told them at pick up of car that I didn't want fuel option, then turned car in with a full tank and they still charged me $38 for the fuel option. Worst exprience!

I rented the 4cyl jeep compass, And after 150 miles the tank was empty. I found that gas mileage to be disgusting and expensive. The car clearly had problems, Check them out before you rent them.
National offices around the country are generally really helpful. But the folks at Memphis practically did backflips to make sure it was a memorable experience. I hardly had to wait and yet two staff apologized for the wait. They were happy and enthusiastic. The man by the cars was very friendly and a great "host" in helping me getting a car. One of the best (of hundreds) of experiences I've had renting a car! And the car had a truly full tank of fuel, was immaculate and check out and check back in were a breeze!
