I will never use this place again. The only reason I tried this place was because they offered a new customer discount of 20% off for 6 months. I dropped off 2 dresses and I called to get estimates before I dropped them off. One was ready on the date on my pick up ticket, but was $25 to get cleaned, instead of the $15 estimate I was given. When I asked about the higher price, none of the clerks had any clue about the discount, so I didn't know if I got it and my receipt didn't have a break down of charges. The other one, they had no clue where it was. I go to pick it up 3 other times, and make a total of 4 phone calls inquiring about it, each time no one knows anything. Almost 2 weeks later, they call me and say that it will $100 to clean the other dress, instead of the $25 estimate. I was tired and unsure of what to do, so I told him to go ahead and clean it. A week and a half later, no one had notified me it's ready. So, I call and they tell me it's been ready for a while. And it's also $15 more than the estimate. So, I ended up paying (with "discounts") $95 to clean a dress that only cost me $45, and $20 to clean a dress that cost me $29. NEVER. AGAIN. So, basically they jack up the prices then give you a "discount." I contacted the manager and the customer service person. Customer service never responded and the manager basically said that's the price and wouldn't change it or explain why it was higher than I was told. Don't worry Bensinger's Fine Cleaners, you won't have to worry about me as a customer ever again.

I had a 3 pcs dress suit that i paid over $200 for, I had a spot on the jacket so I didnt have the complete suit cleaned, I did have 7 other items that I had cleaned. Those other items were okay. But my jacket wasnt. Before giving them the jacket to be cleaned. I asked if there would be a problem in cleaning it because it had a silver rhinestone brooch to snap it close. I was told no problem, it will be protected. After sending someone to pickup my item and checking them over, I notice that the snap on the brooch was broken.I took it back and I was told they will try to fix it, I went to pick it up a week later and I was told that one of the ladies was looking for a match, to come back thursday, got there thursday I was told there was nothing that they could do, and that I should have read the sign. What an insult, I was trying to patronize our own, and save a little money but this was my fault, I blame myself for taking an expensive suit to a CHEAP cleaners, LESSON LEARNED, never again
They are some swindlers! I took a suit in to be cleaned and hemmed. one price was placed on the ticket for $13.85. Then when I came back to pick up the suit, the there was additional charge of $15.35. The total being over $30.00. Total BS! The half ass hemming job, I could have done a better myself. My year old could have done a better job. Take your money else where or do it yourself. They need to STOP being sneaky with their pricing and better customer service. Watch-out! They will hit you with the ookie-dook...:(

I took over 50 pieces of clothing to DMC for cleaning. Each piece was cleaned and revitalized. Even sequin outfits looked like they were new. The personnel are friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied.
Very unprofessional and rude! We had requested alteration of my son's pants, paid for services upfront. They returnes the pants with different pant leg lengths. One was LONGER than the other! And the sewing was crucked. The pants were returned dirty and wrinkled. The lady working there refused a refund! Pathetic waste of space.

Love supporting these local family owned business !They do same day service (if dropped off early) and will do next day return. The owners are immigrants, but try really hard to understand exactly what kind of service you are looking for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND btw 99 cents for men's laundry shirts?? (cant get any better)
I could not find an email address to send you this but hopefully this will find its way to the Owner/Manager. I have been a loyal customer to your dry cleaners for 15 years. This morning I found out last minute I had something I needed to attend mid day tomorrow. I rushed to your dry cleaners at Poplar, the one I have been going to for 15 years, and arrived at 9:15am hoping to get same day service. I understand that I missed the cutoff time by 15 mins but based on my long-term loyalty I thought a 1 time exception could be made. Unfortunately the girls at the counter were not having it and long term loyalty means nothing! Unfortunately I have made the decision to take my loyalty somewhere else after this event. No, I am not leaving due to this one event. The counter service has truly gone down hill over the past few months and I have bitten my tongue for as long as I can. Thank you for your service over the years but the counter service has gone down hill and I must move on.
I used to have a high opinion of Happy Day. Unfortunately, our friendship had to come to an abrupt halt due to poor business practices and consumer abuse. Long story short, they burned a hole into the shoulder of a beautiful new jacket, refused to pay reparations OR even give me an apology. They kept the jacket for two months and it took over 15 phone calls and 7 weekly visits to finally get it back. Mistakes happen, jackets get ruined- that's life. However, the inability of the owner (Bobby) to muster any human decency is unforgivable and, quite frankly, unctuous business practice. It's upsetting that a company that I held in such high regard would have such little care for their clientele- While I would have highly recommended Happy Day prior to this incident, I now have no choice but to explain its abuse to anybody and everybody with any interest in their services. Please be warned before bringing your beloved belongings to them.
