Our experience was less than terrible. This excludes the Physical Therapy Department and the floor nurses, who were nice and generally caring. But that leaves the CNA's, the Doctor, the nurse practioner. We were misled on information when we checked in. A Nurse Practioner came in the first day to go over all of his medication. She disagreed with what he was taking and suggested a few changes, which we approved; that information never got communicated to the Floor Nurse and thus never done. The center's doctor came in but did nothing but a meet and greet, gave a few annoying laughs and left, never to be seen again. We were told that my brother would not have to wear a diaper and he would be helped to the bathroom, WRONG; he was shamed into wearing a diaper. I found a CNA sleeping in a common area one morning and the CNAs screamed down the hall to each other, Morning/Noon/Night. We were told upon check in that my brother would be checked on every two hours, WRONG! I could go on and on with atleast 5 other examples. JUst do your do diligence and do more than just a tour. We couldn't wait to get him out of there.
