Ralph Black is an unskilled, no good, lying, sorry excuse for a contractor. He claimed to be able to do a simple baseboard install. However, he damaged my stairs, walls, and couldn't even install the baseboard properly. He has zero carpentry skills and just uses wood putty to fill in holes/gaps that are several inches wide. I could not be more disappointed. Do NOT hire this man for anything!!!
Thank you for the great service. I will definitely come again. My husband has been telling his friend about the service
This has to be the worst experience I've had as a tenant in over 10 years. Owner/management are rude and nonresponsive. Their walls are paper-thin, and tend to separate creating cracks that allow you to see into your neighbor's apartment. Sounds and smells from neighboring apartments leak as well. Basically zero privacy. When you bring these issues to management they dismiss you and do nothing to fix it. They also applied a very strong concrete sealer in the first floor, whose odor forced many tenants to vacate the building for two nights at least. They failed to warn tenants this was happening. They refused to grant pro-rated rent because it was not toxic. Does one have to suffer long-term health damage for this to be considered inadequate living conditions? Please stay away from this place. For what they charge you can find way better options in the area.
On April 16, 2014, I hired Mr. Black to seal a kitchen skylight and repaint the ceiling. With the next rain, it was clear the skylight was still leaking. Mr. Black promised to return in a few days to finish the job. It is now almost 5 months later, and Mr. Black has ignored repeated phone and text messages about this issue. My patience with him is over.
Ralph and his crew are true professionals. They treated my home like it was their own and did an incredible job on my bathroom renovation. Several of my friends and family have used The Finishing Touch and had spectacular results. Easy to work with, friendly, professional with an outstanding outcome....I can't say enough good things about their work.
Crone Construction repaired many rotten wood casement windows in my home. I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. The work was completed in a timly manor and the price was very reasonable. Mr. Crone went above and beyond to make sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend using Crone Construction for your window needs.
We purchased one set of cabinets + doors from L&M for our kitchen renovation. The work was all substandard. The contractor who was painting the doors didn't sand them first, so they could not be salvaged and we wound up purchasing another set of cabinet doors, painted in L&M's shop the second time around. Those were better, but still poor. Uneven paint, missed spots, runs, drips and starting a week after delivery, a lot of cracks. The cabinets they custom built don't match the existing cabinets. They are 4" above the floor, the existing cabinets are 5 1/2" above the floor. The distances between the new drawers and cabinet doors are 1 1/2" instead of 2" that the existing cabinet doors were. Two large, prominent doors are severely warped (see photo). We've had other cabinet people in who are now telling us they can't make doors line up because the cabinet openings aren't the same size and they don't line up. We're going to have to rip out all the new cabinets + all the existing cabinets and start over with someone new. Appalling.
I have called this bussiness 3 different times, with no call back. I have a house with their cabinets and the braces for the drawer railing keep breaking. I am not overloading this drawers either. One was full tupperware.
