Women's Center Counseling

When my world came crashing down around me, when I didn't even know what was happening to me was domestic violence I was introduced to The Women's Center. I met with Jackie and she was able to get me help through counseling. Today I went to court for a permanent order of protection. With me I had an attorney from legal aid, an advocate from women's center as well as another advocate from Brevard County Sheriff office. I never knew all this help was available- all this support. This has helped me get through some of the worse moments these last 2 weeks. I am so thankful. I know I still have a long way to go but at least now I am no longer alone.

in 1999 I was going through some rough times in my marriage. I was directed to women's center in Merritt Island, fl I was able to have an attny with lots of great advice I was given all kinds of places locally that could help me. I was able to see a councelor for free. Everyone at the Women's center was great, They gave me back my self confidence asnd guided me all the way. They made me feel important again.... Still today in 2009 I amable to get through tough times by using all the tools given to me.Thank YOU all....M Wines...Cocoa Fl
