Clevens Center For Facial Cosmetic Surgery

I had a facial from Christi and I asked her to take it easy on me. She gave me such a severe chemical peel that my face and decollatage were extremely painful for an entire week, and I shed my skin like a snake. When I called Christi five days after the facial, to tell her my face was very painful and I was afraid it was going to scar, she was very insulting and called me a 'kook'. Then she was surprised I would not drive over to see her. I normally do not go to see people who are unprofessional enough to call me names. I complained to the office manager, Heather, who offered to give me my money back, and asked me not to leave any reviews anywhere. I took the refund, because there is no reason why I should pay these jerks to scar me, but I am also leaving this review to warn you, I do not recommend this place. So, if you don't see very many bad reviews of this place, it is partially because they are actively trying to stop dissatisfied clients from writing reviews. When it was all over, I ended up with a scar the size of a dime on my chest (decolletage). Additionally they give you the hard sell, trying to sell you every possible overpriced face cream product they have manufactured themselves, and pretending nobody else can make a face cream that's of any value except them. I did buy some of their products when I left, because Christi said I should put them on my face after the facial, to soothe my skin. Oh, no, there was nothing soothing about it. When I put the Cleavens products on my skin, they stung, and turned my face bright red, and had to immediately be rinsed off, because of the great pain. My impression of Cleavens is that they are horrible people, highly unprofessional and unskilled, busily scrabbling for a dime, which they hold most dear above honesty and service. They are holed up in a pretentiously glitzy office which appears gaudy and cheap, all that glitters is not gold, and their services and products are sub par. Not recommended.

Six months after I had a facelift , I am happy to share what a fantastic experience it has been . Dr Clevens and his team of Clevens Face and Body Specialist , made my experience pleasant and easy to understand as I went through the process. Always greeted with a welcoming smile. I recommend Dr Clevens to my friends and family continually.

I had a rhinoplasty procedure on my nose last summer. I am so happy with my results. I now think my nose looks absolutely perfect. Dr. Clevens truly is a miracle worker. I wouldn't trust anybody else but Dr. Clevens and his staff. They were so kind and helped me understand the entire process.

On June 1st, I had a skin cancer removed from my forehead with Dr. Clevens. I have actually been coming to Dr. Clevens’ office for about 20 years; he is an excellent surgeon. My experience here has been wonderful and I’ve recommend Dr. Clevens many times.

I saw Brian at Dr. Clevens’ office for a laser procedure. He is very nice; it is great service for the patients. You just feel like Brian is the kid next door. He is always so friendly and makes you feel right at ease. I will be recommending Brian to anyone who asks about the procedure. Overall, I have always been taken good care of at Dr. Clevens’ office.

I came to Dr. Clevens’ office for treatment of a scar. Nicole performed my laser treatment. My results are really good. I had cancer, then surgery, and was left with a scar. Nicole did a good job and I will be recommending her to others. Everything went really good.

I saw Dr. Clevens for a facelift, eyelift, and a rhinoplasty on December 18th. Originally, I heard about Dr. Clevens after my husband had his nose done. He is a very kind and thorough doctor. He is willing to make sure his patients are very happy. I’m still in the healing process, but I would say at this time I am happy with my results. It’s at 90%, and maybe Dr. Clevens will have to tweak something at some point, but I would recommend him to someone else – absolutely.

I saw Brian at Dr. Clevens’ office today. My original procedure, that brought me in to the office, was with Dr. Clevens, having the corner of my lips and eyelids done. But I've been following up with additional procedures with Brian since that time, and this morning he did some laser work on my face that is a follow-up treatment to enhance my surgery. My original procedure was in January 2014, and then some revision work was done in December 2014, also. My impression of Brian is that he is a very pleasant person. He is easy to talk with, very understanding, and communicative. He listens to what the patient has to say about their experiences and addresses their issues. Brian also has a great sense of humor. In our initial visit, I talked to him about exactly what my concerns were and he took them point-by-point and addressed them. Brian told me how we would correct them and that I would end up being happy with them. I've seen the results and I'm already very, very happy, as is my husband. I would certainly recommend Brian and Dr. Clevens to someone else.

I am having a scar revision done on my right cheek, with Brian, at Dr. Clevens’ office. The surgeon did it about a year ago, but what happened is for some reason the end of the scar started to pop up. Talking to Rosanna, at Dr. Clevens’ office, she encouraged Brian to look at it. Brian injected cortisone and now it is as flat as can be. As small as this may seem, it’s on my face, so it makes a big difference to me. I would absolutely recommend the practice to others. Dr. Clevens is wonderful, but everyone is always lovely at the office.

I had a rhinoplasty and a facelift on October 20th, now I’m having the skin resurfacing. I've been researching the procedure and looking online for years before I finally decided to do it. I wanted to do something for myself. Dr. Clevens is very experienced and he’s a total sweetheart. His staff, Betsy, Kelly, and Christine, they were wonderful. I think my neck really looks fantastic. I think I look 20 years younger.

I had the facial peel done with Christina at Dr. Clevens’ office. My dermatologist suggested chemical peels to improve my skin which led me to Dr. Clevens. I had normal skin aging issues and I’m a Floridian, which means that I’m under the sun more than other people. I had some spots and uneven skin tone, which is why I wanted to get a chemical peel. Christina has been great. She’s very friendly, knowledgeable, has a good sense of humor and knows what she’s doing. The recovery for my first chemical peel left me pretty red and sore for the first couple of days but I was up a week after. My second peel was cake compared to the first one. I absolutely recommend Christina and the procedure for anyone looking to improve their appearance.

I had Helen at Dr. Clevens’ office treat me with Xeomin filler. I would say that she’s very professional and confident in her skills. She was very thorough and did a great job.

I wanted to get a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Clevens because my dad works in a hospital and Dr. Clevens has a great reputation there. He also had great feedback online so I decided to get my procedure done with him. Dr. Clevens is an extraordinary person. I’m an athlete and I was concerned about how I should resume my training after the surgery; he answered all my questions letting me know in detail when it’s alright for me to go back onto the field and what precautions I should take. I played football and that took a toll on my nose, which caused me great difficulty breathing. After the surgery, my breathing has improved tremendously – and it only took three weeks after the surgery for me to notice the vast difference. The recovery time was quick too. I rested for five days but I started to breathe through my nose three days after the surgery. I highly recommend any athletes out there to look into Dr. Clevens for a septorhinoplasty.

I had my eyelids done back in March and had absolutely no problems. My eyes look like brand new. The surgery was well worth it because I can see better and it cost me practically nothing with Medicare. I am very pleased with everything and I would highly recommend Dr. Clevens to anybody who needs work done by a plastic surgeon. He is fantastic.

I had a necklift with Dr. Clevens in March of last year and he took some sagging skin from my neck off. I was really bothered by the way that had looked and I had seen something in a magazine, so I went to his office to inquire about the procedure. After the procedure was explained to me and what was going to happen if I did the procedure, I decided to go for it. Dr. Clevens is wonderful. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable, as did his nurses. Everybody is wonderful here. I am very happy with the outcome of my surgery. He did exactly what I wanted him to do. He took the sagging skin from under my chin, and I don’t necessarily look 30 years younger or anything, but I do look much better.

I was referred to Dr. Clevens by my insurance company and I have since had several operations done by him on the top of my head, neck and forehead. About 2 years ago I had skin cancer on my nose and he replaced the entire right side of my nose, and then a few weeks later, he replaced half of my left side of my nose. It was a two-part operation. Dr. Clevens took the skin from my forehead folded it over and attached it to where the nose no longer had skin. It had to continue growing there for approximately two and a half weeks, and then he cut the skin that was from my forehead and sewed the forehead back together and basically conform the new skin to my nose. I recommend him extremely highly. My procedure was very, very successful. I'm very pleased with the outcome. My friends who saw the initial operation and who saw the results can't believe that it looks as good as it does now. I'm actually getting ready to have an ear operation for skin cancer on my ear in about three weeks. He and the staff were fantastic in my opinion. It has been very good experience and his offices are convenient to me. I've been thoroughly satisfied.

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Clevens September of last year after researching online and looking at his credentials and pictures. He was very knowledgeable and he knew what he was doing. I mean I just felt comfortable right away knowing all the new technology that he implements in his practice and I felt very comfortable right then and there. The office is very easy to get in touch with and they worked with me for everything. It was great. I’m very, very happy and I like my profile now. I really like how Dr. Clevens kept up with me and especially the month after the surgery. I took off two weeks of work because I'm a manager, so I have to talk to people every day. But I was able to work from home after the third day. I was able to work and get around and not have to take very much pain medication after the first three days or so. It’s just so amazing how it changes over time I just had my last appointment in February. I'm still having some like congestion issues but Dr. Clevens said that it was no big deal and to just keep using my nasal spray and it would improve. I guess I would just say if you're thinking about it, do your research and it’s definitely worth it. In the end, I know it’s a lot of money and it’s some downtime from work or life but it’s definitely worth it.

I’ve been going to Dr. Clevens’ office for over a year now for injectables on my forehead and around my eyes. I was really impressed that he is twice board certified, which is really telling on how he really knows what he’s doing. I first ended up meeting Lori, who was the first person who took care of me and did my injections. Lori is no longer with Dr. Clevens so in November I went with Susan. I go get little touch ups every couple of months to maintain everything. Everything has been just fantastic. Susan keeps me looking nice and I’m very happy with my results. .Whenever I notice anything I don’t like I come in and she assesses me and tells me what she thinks we should do. She always knows exactly what I’m looking for. Making appointments is a breeze; they always manage to fit me in. Everyone at the office has such a nice mannerism and good personalities. They’re very attentive as soon as you walk in the door and so enthusiastic. The whole office has a very nice calming atmosphere. Everything is updated and meticulously clean. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Clevens for a few years now after hearing about him through word of mouth by friends. He is so professional and sincere. He’s very talented and the before and after pictures are amazing. During my consultations with him he was sincerely interested, sincerely concerned with how he could improve things. I like his attitude, his professionalism and just how very knowledgeable he is. The biggest thing that brought me to him this time is that I had a large squamous cell cancer on my lower lip. He had to remove almost half of my lower lip and put it back together. It’s a pretty invasive surgery and he did it painlessly. You’d really have to look closely at me to be able to tell. Everyone was very impressed. But, my favorite thing he has done was the CO2 laser. The time I did it several years ago, it was 4 or 5 weeks of downtime. It was very severe. The last time I did it was like six or eight months ago, the downtime was maybe two weeks. I think Dr. Clevens used a new procedure but still did an invasive CO2 laser on my face. The recovery was amazing and I’m certain it has to do with the procedure he does now. He takes blood platelets and places them on the skin on your face to help with the recovery and healing process. It’s amazing. I want to keep coming back to see Dr. Clevens for the rest of my life. I’m not kidding, they’re stuck with me whether they like it or not. The entire staff is amazing, professional, energetic and just positive. I just can’t say enough.

I had two Biopsies done yesterday with Dr. Clevens. It was my first time seeing him. I chose Dr. Clevens do to this procedure for me because of his reputation. I found out about him through my insurance. When I went in to see Dr. Clevens my experience was very pleasant. I found Dr. Clevens to be friendly and personable, as is his staff. There's been no downtime, and the recovery feels fine. The aftercare has been excellent from the doctor and his staff. I feel good about the outcome. I would absolutely recommend him.
